The cottage is like my personal home, as we spent a great amount of time making it nice for our guests. Party like crazy in the French Quarter, or Uptown bars, or even at the local Irish pub a few blocks away. Basically, we just ask that our guests respect our space, and treat it as they would their own home.

Overall we had a good stay in the apartment and the location was fantastic. It's only a short walk to the Ruby Slipper cafe which was great for breakfast and the streetcar which will take you to Downtown New Orleans for $1.25 or get the day pass for $3.00. The area is very quiet and the entrance to the apartment is down the side of the house which is quite private. The courtyard out the back is nice and private with plenty of outdoor seating but could do with a clean up / tidy. The bathroom could do with some more wall shelving and maybe an exhaust fan and the shower head placement is somewhat unusual. The main problems were the bed that freaks loudly anytime you move

As they say, born and raised in New Orleans, and it is like another planet. But there is no place like it. I love gardening, music, museums, and everything unique about our city! I have traveled all over the world and have yet to find anyplace quite like home.
