The apartment is very spacious and in a very good location. Close to Parliament, Mauritshuis, shops and cafes. It was within walking distance of the train station. We had a great stay.

This is a fantastic location. Close to the Central Station, close to the Mauritshuis, and close to the main square restaurants.

I stayed in “Modern City Centre Apt.” in the center of The Hague for 9 days/nights, primarily to attend the yearly Movies That Matter film festival. When away from home for over 2 days I find a hotel room too narrow, and an apartment like this is exactly the welcome opposite I'm always looking for. Beside the 6-seat table to eat, there was an extra table for paper work and laptop, so you could leave that undisturbed while eating. And two 2-seat couches where you can receive people and avoid the noisy hotel bar with the usual bad lights. // The master bedroom offered ample closet space with hangers to store your clothes, and there was an additional bedroom with 2 beds for overnight guests. I had two such guests for three days, and expected another guest later that week. When I mentioned that, the bed linen was replaced as a matter of course. The washing machine and dryer were an advantage too, allowing me to pack less clothes. You won't find all these things in a hotel anywhere. // I must confess upfront that I'm unlike the average tourist hence not interested in shopping, terraces and restaurants, yet using the opportunity to sightsee in and around the city as much as my meeting schedule allows. Whatever your purpose of staying in The Hague, this apartment is located on an ideal spot, nearby all imaginable categories of shops and restaurants, museums, public transport and sightseeing objects. And it is 500 meters away from the heart of our democracy: our parliament and the tower where our PM has his office. Most ministries, embassies and government organizations are also within the same radius. // Despite the busy street with shops and restaurants we had no problems with street noise, as both bedrooms are equipped with double glazing with a 10-cm gap, which is known to block sounds better than the usual narrower insulation glass. This proved very useful indeed with roadworks overnight around the corner at the time we were there (tram rails were replaced, obviously a one-off and not relevant for later guests). // Last but not least, as a self-catering traveler by choice, the kitchen is also important for me. I had no comments on what was available. There were more than enough plates and utensils and other such necessities for preparing your own meals. The nearest supermarket (Albert Heijn at the Turfmarkt) at 200-meter distance offers everything you need. If you are less lazy than I am, the neighborhood offers lots of bakeries, butchers and other food shops to browse through. // All in all, a perfect home away from home. I can recommend it to everyone tired of narrow hotel rooms. Communication with local contact Crina was very responsive, and I got immediate replies throughout my stay.
