The space

Central, but oh so quiet, my first floor apartment looks onto greenery from every window. Not the usual experience of inner city living! Brand new queen size bed in the main bedroom (with BIR), and single bed in the 2nd bedroom, providing spacious comfortable accommodation for 3 people. Fully furnished, well appointed kitchen with pantry, (cooking basics provided), reverse cycle air-conditioning, WIFI, wide screen TV, radio/CD player, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. You will want for nothing.

Guest access

Undercover car park.

Other things to note

My husband and I are friendly and accessible. We're experienced travellers both nationally and internationally, and will welcome you just as we would like to be welcomed.

Merryn greeted us with a lovely loaf of warm bread, a smile and lots of information about things to do in Adelaide. Lovely apartment, quiet, beds are comfy and centrally located. The pantry and fridge had good basic stocks. Would definitely stay again!

Merryn met us at the agreed time and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment. She also gave us a lovely loaf of home baked bread - delicious! The apartment is in the perfect place, not too close to the CBD to be noisy with traffic or people, close enough to walk to everything (took us fifteen minutes to the main shopping area). If you don't want to walk the free bus stops just around the corner. There is a great cafe (Coffylosophy) around the corner and an excellent Italian restaurant at the end of the street. In short, the perfect place to stay when exploring Adelaide.

Central to to most things. Not as many restaurants near by as I thought. Good pub on the corner.

This is our 2nd stay at Merryn's apartment. We love the location between Hutt St and Victoria Park. It is perfectly peaceful, yet everything you could ever need is just minutes away. The apartment itself is clean, well-equipped and spacious. Merryn and her daughter are extremely friendly and easy to deal with.

Merryn's place was perfect. It was centrally located for exploring Adelaide and in a nice quiet leafy street. Merryn was there to meet us and had baked us a lovely loaf of fresh bread. Would definitely recommend.

Clean, modern 2-bedroom apartment just off Hutt St. Close to the bus stops for the free connector around the CBD. Although surrounded by other residential apartments, the 3 nights we stayed (over the weekend) was very quiet, so getting to sleep was not a problem. Merryn was a lovely host and all communication was really easy. And yes, the freshly baked bread that greeted our arrival was greatly appreciated, as was the pint of milk. Having been traveling all morning, it was lovely to arrive and relax with a cuppa' and a fresh slice of bread. This was our first Airbnb experience and glad to say it was an extremely positive one.

There is a reason this property has a great reviews. It is good value for money, conveniently located, well equipped and Merryn goes to great lengths to ensure your stay is comfortable including some freshly baked bread and milk on arrival. She also helped us with storing our bags etc. Tips - you can catch a fast local bus to hahndorf, 11 minutes walk from the unit for just over $3 ( look it up using Adelaide Metro) - the organised tours are not worth it. Use the free circuit bus or Uber as Adelaide's blocks are much larger than those in Sydney. Chianti is one of the best Italian restaurant's, 5 mins walk from the unit, pricey however and you must book. Have lunch at the national wine centre in the botanical gardens and you can have tasters for as little as $2.50. Enjoy Adelaide. Will definitely stay here again.
