This is a really Great apartment with really easy access to central Paris! The space is small but really well used which means you have everything you need to stay there. We stayed for 6 nights and it was perfect. There is also a balcony which is a lovely spot to eat and watch the world go by.

It was a great experience to stay in Paris like a real Parisian. The apartment is really cosy, and well equipped with everything you need. You can catch to metro line within 10 minutes. There is a lot of shops and patisseries near to the flat. We really enjoy our stay, I can recommend it to the couples, and friends also.

Alexis's place is great for a trip to Paris. It is small, but you aren't going to be staying at home when you're visiting anyhow! Everything was as described. Check-in was easy & Alexis was great. His communication was great as well. I'd recommend this place to anyone. The balcony was especially wonderful to have. Just make sure you're very comfortable with who you're going with, because there isn't room for privacy in the apartment. Location-wise it is about two blocks from multiple metro stops and a block from the Velib bike rentals. Paris is generally extremely easy to get around, so the location is no problem at all. It is in a neighborhood full of locals, not touristy at all!

We stayed at Alexis's place for one week and appreciated its proximity to Montmartre and convenience of being near Metro stops that allowed us to easily travel to the city center. However, after being in the apartment for just a few minutes we noticed a distinct musty smell. We also found that the kitchen and bathroom had not been cleaned or as well stocked as we hoped. Upon further inspection, we discovered mold in the closet, and around the windows. In addition, we later found that the ironing board was not useable because of the mildew on it. As a result we had to begin our stay in Paris by cleaning the kitchen and buying our own hand soap and paper products. On the plus side, we liked having a kitchen where we cooked meals and a terrace where we ate outside in the evenings. Would not recommend this place if you have any sort of allergy to mold. But nice to find a no frills place in Paris that we could afford!

Response from Alexis:
Sorry for the disagreement. I was not informed about any problem during your stay, so it was not possible to check and to solve it. In case of specific allergic issue it would be helpful to inform your host about before booking, not after leaving the place. The apartment was cleaned before your arrival, a bottle of liquid soap and five toilet paper rolls were provided for your stay. My apologizes if you had to buy extra toilet paper. I hope you appreciated your stay anyway.

We had a great stay at Alexis' apartment. The apartment is not in central Paris but is about a 5 minute walk to a couple different metro stops that will take you into the city center. Also it is near a few local restaurants, cafes, bars, and grocery stores which is convenient. Alexis was very helpful in getting us settled and helping us with the public transport systems. His apartment is cute and clean, with everything you need, but it very small (tiny shower) and up 6 flights if stairs (with no elevator). Overall, we had a good stay, and we liked interacting with Alexis.

The apartment is very cute. Even though there's not much room to move around once the pullout couch is turned into a bed, my husband and I enjoyed having a balcony to eat meals on. The room was clean and tidy. The only downside was the 6 flights of stairs to get to the room but you can call it part of the Parisian charm. It's only a 5 minute walk from the subway station and the subway station itself is quite centrally located. Very easy to get to different city landmarks. There are supermarkets, cafes, fruit stands, and more just past the subway station. It helps when trying to save a bit of money on meals. Highly recommend this listing.
