This magnificent home invites you to experience the rare luxury of waterfront living. It boasts 4 large bedrooms, 3 living rooms, an office, open plan kitchen, multiple fireplaces and all in an enchanting private Bellevue lakefront setting.
This one of a kind home has it's own private bay which is home to more birdlife than any other habited area on the lake. Bald eagles dive for fish while blue herons bide their time on the dock under the magnificent weeping willow. Canadian geese and many other water foul flock to the sanctitude of this bay. The tranquility is occasionally interrupted by the resident beaver as well as the otter and his family who have been seen to frolic on the lawn in the later afternoon sun... Our home has been aptly named "Otter's Cove" in honor of our fury friend
Built with meticulous attention to traditional style, the brick and shingle exterior invite you in to a home of elegant comfort. A large, fire warmed living room gives a view of both the front and lake side of the home. Oversized windows maximize the natural light on both sides of the home. There is a second living room for TV viewing with a 60 inch flat screen and high end blue ray electronics. From Beethoven to Jimmy Hendrix, surround sound fills the home and you are welcome to the expansive music library. The third living room is a blended combination of fun and workouts: Lounge on the couches or play with the best kids escape of non electronic toys where Thomas the Train meets Quadrilla; Or use the gym equipment for a cardio workout and weight session.
The kitchen is fully stocked with high end waterless cookware equipment and large counters for those holiday cinnamon rolls! There are also two ovens- one gas and one electric depending on your preference. A dishwasher, vitamix, microwave and large refrigerator are some of the basics to make your stay entertainment easy.
The upstairs master bedroom has a king bed, lots of closet space and an attached smaller bathroom with shower. Fall asleep with your expansive lake view and warming fireplace. Two other bedrooms have king and twin beds respectively and the fourth has twin trundle beds. All rooms have views of the manicured yard or lake.
There is a front loading washer and dryer with ironing facilities- and again a view of the lake!
While this is a spacious home with a large yard, we do not allow parties. Rather, privately, enjoy the panoramic views capturing sunrise to sunset.
Quiet kayaking at sunrise, peaceful lake walks, bar-b-ques on the lawn and a 70 foot dock for evening cocktails awaits you providing the best waterfront vacationing has to offer. For a long or short getaway, this is sure to be one you will remember- and return to year after year.
Guests have access to everything in the house with the exception of the wine room and one storage area. These are reserved for use by the owner only. There are 4 mountain bikes for the guests to use, games, puzzles and lots and lots of kids and adult books.
Interaction with guests
We travel frequently ourselves but will always make an effort to be available by phone or email. There are service people who will arrive for scheduled yard maintenance, but we understand that this is your vacation and respect your privacy during your stay.
Other things to note
We require a minimum of 5 night stay.
This home is located in a quiet residential street so no large gatherings and no additional overnight guest without homeowner approval.
The maximum number of guests is limited to 6 persons. An additional charge per person per night for guests in addition to 6 will be assessed.
Two police officers live within view so safety has never been an issue!
We ask that guests remove shoes in the home.
Please note that under no circumstances do we allow smoking, parties or pets. Our guest house is located in a quiet neighborhood street and failure to abide by this will sadly result in immediate termination of your stay and forfeiture of funds paid. Please note that friends who come to visit you in the home are also required to leave their pets and cigarettes in the car! (We have repeat clientele who suffer from severe allergies so this is of utmost importance....Than you!)
Access: Guest shall allow Homeowner access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection and yard maintenance. Homeowner shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner.
Condition: If the premises appear dirty or damaged upon Check-in, Guest shall inform Homeowner immediately. Guest will be expected to leave the home in an orderly state. Failure to do so will result in additional charges.
It is the Guest’s responsibility to immediately notify Owner of any issues that they incur during their stay so that they may be promptly addressed. Owner shall not be held liable, or otherwise take any responsibility, for any injuries that may occur to Guest, and/or Guest’s invitee, that is caused or permitted to be caused by the intentional, unintentional, negligent, or careless acts of said Guests, and/or invitees. By the written or electronic endorsement of this Agreement, Guest agrees to forever hold-harmless and indemnify Owner from any liability and/or responsibility arising therefrom.
