Our small but cozy house is in Trastevere, the most characteristic and evocative district in Rome. A unique space, with a fireplace, two large windows overlooking an internal court, kitchenette, sofa bed and a small bathroom.

The space

This small house is warm and welcoming; by walking one reaches Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, Piazza San Cosimato, and the fountain of the Gianicolo, from which you can enjoy the most beautiful panorama of the city. For those who prefer to move around with transits, bus no. 8 takes ten minutes to get to Piazza Venezia, the Imperial Forums, and the Colosseum.
It is also easy to reach San Pietro square, with the train from the Trastevere station, which is only three bus stops away from San Pietro!
Our house is also easily reachable from the Fiumicino airport: you can get to the Trastevere, station and from there take the bus 8 and get down after three stops.

Guest access

The house is on the ground floor, with windows overlooking the internal garden, equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, washer, dishwasher, furnished kitchen, and a small bath with shower.

Interaction with guests

We greet our guests on arrival, providing them with useful information for their stay in Rome, particular places to visit, and a map of the district.

Other things to note

The house provides a comfortable sofa bed.

Perfect appartment to know Rome. It's in a quiet street of the most cheerful area of the city, love the Trastevere. Small but enough for two people, with all the necessary in it. We didn't meet massimo e silvia but they were attentive of our needs. Great!

This was the perfect place to start off our holiday in Italy. It is a small, clean, easy lock-up-and-go apartment with every comfort you need for a great holiday (washing machine, dishwasher, percolator, utensils, gas stove, condiments, air con and much more). By far the best neighborhood in Rome. Very quite and peaceful. It was central, very close to public transport, a fully stocked Supermarket, bike and Vespa rentals, restaurants and clothing stores. Our absolute favourites were the square packed with leafy restaurants and a quick walk to the riviera where we had many a sundowner drinks with gorgeous views. The tram was right outside for an easy and affordable commute to the Colosseum. Massimo was incredible with communication, very friendly and gave us all the information we needed for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended! We knew the bed was a pull out couch so it didn't bother us in the slightest. It ended up being quite comfortable.

Really cosy house, well located and with all the needs to have a lovely stay. We have been hosted in August, the Air conditioner was a key player. Massimo was charming since the beginning, he gave us some courtesy food, provided all the required instructions for moving in Rome and he has booked our taxi to the airport the last day. The next Rome trip, we would repeat with no doubts.

My husband and I stayed at Massimo's place for 3 nights during our honeymoon in Rome! His place was very close to public transit. My husband and I visited many cafes around the area for breakfast and also enjoyed a wonderful dinner of very fresh pasta at a restaurant in the neighbourhood called La Tavernaccia (be sure to make reservations!). :) Massimo was such a great host and was very responsive with our messages and accommodating with our initially anticipated earlier check in time. The place was very clean and spacious. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed and bathroom had lots of clean towels. Massimo even surprised us with a nice bottle of Prosecco as a honeymoon gift for us in addition to the basket of breakfast food. He checked in by airbnb message during our time there to see if there was anything we needed. He also arranged for a personal driver to take us to the airport when it was time for us to leave. All in all, we loved our stay in Rome and would highly recommend Massimo's place to anyone visiting Rome! :)
