Greetings from our antique Craftsman home!
A bit about our 100+year old home:
+There's a bbq & fire pit in the small backyard. When it's fire season this is off limits.
+Our home has features of a vintage home, if that's not your style, please book elsewhere.
+We cater to families & individuals, but no partiers, please!
+We are a budget-priced facility that's clean, cosy and comfortable, not extravagant. Read description, check photos.
We hope you enjoy your vacation in The City by the Lake!

The space
From the moment you first step into this classic American home, you will sense peace and feel yourself relax as you anticipate your time spent in the city of Coeur d'Alene.

Look around and notice the old wood fir floors and take a peek out of the original wavy glass from the early 1900s.

Sit a spell on the large porch, and enjoy some time on the wood swing.

Say hello to the neighbors and passersby, most everyone is friendly here so, Enjoy!

Guest access
You will enjoy using the entire house, from the top floor to the lower basement, the front yard to the backyard.
With five bedrooms (one King and one Queen bedrooms up, three bedrooms ((one queen, 3 twin beds)) down), a living room area upstairs and a second one downstairs and two full sized bathrooms, you will have lots of room to spread out.
Take a step outside the back gate into the alley way and walk around the neighborhood. You are steps from Zip’s old-fashioned hamburgers, the local Post Office, and many other eateries, coffee shops and gift shops.
Take a stroll through the Resort to see what everyone is talking about and have a Gooey sundae at Dockside Restaurant!

Other things to note
There are two televisions in each living room area. They have access via Roku stick with code.
We have wifi and invite you to watch favorite shows through websites available.

We do not offer local or cable television.

There are many books, both classic and current that you may read and,
if you find a really good one, take it home with you free of charge!

We offer a S'mores basket as our gift to you. If it seems too breezy to build a fire in the back, we ask that you refrain from doing so and use the kitchen stove/oven if you wish to make S'mores.

While we have tried to think of everything possible to make this a great stay for you, we are not perfect and may miss something.

Please contact us right away and we will do our best to remedy the situation if it is called for.
Thank you for understanding!

The neighborhood is filled with old and new homes.
Next door is a home that is over 100 years old, in fact, the owner was born in that house while the brick building behind our home used to be the school he attended as a young boy.
Take a stroll and you will see many unique homes that hearken back to a time gone by.
Many of these homes are in the process of revitalization as is the downtown area.

Hi! I live in the wonderful Inland Northwest with my husband and kids. We love this beautiful area and invite you to come to our downtown home where there is lots to do, see and ENJOY! I love Italian food and recommend Tony's on the Lake and Angelo's on Fourth Avenue. My husband, Ed, and I have always collected books. We love art, antiques and gardening. Favorite music would be the Talking Heads, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Sufjan Stevens, Buena Vista Social Club, and old gospel music. We are a laid back family that aims to please. We want you to be comfortable while you stay with us, so let us know if there is anything you need and we will try to fill that need:) We love traveling to Yosemite and hope to one day soon go back to climb Half Dome, the backside that is. A motto we live by is found in the Bible, It is: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, Lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Hope you stay with us sometime, it will be fun!
