Nestle snugly in our peaceful light-filled cottage, tastefully decorated. There are two double bedrooms with large kitchen-diner and sitting room with open fire. Hidcote Boyce is a quintessentially Cotswold hamlet with convenient access to the area.
Hidcote Boyce is a very quiet hamlet set deep in the North Cotswolds. We are less than one mile from the famous National Trust Garden of Hidcote Manor (a lovely walk across two fields and you're there!); and two miles from the beautiful market town of Chipping Campden. There are some wonderful gastro pubs and restaurants very nearby and other recreations include famous Walking Ways, Royal Shakespeare Company theatres at Stratford upon Avon, (15mins away). Broadway, Moreton in Marsh, Stow on the Wold and other markets towns and villages all within very easy access.
We live in the house next door to the Cottage and the car parking area behind the house is shared. Guests have access to their own garden.
Amongst other things, in the Cottage, there is a full utility room, child's travel cot and high chair available, electric blankets, tv and dvd library, iron and board, first aid kit.
Interaction with guests
We will be able to make lots of suggestions for our guests as to how to spend their time if they would like to know about places to eat, walk, visit, speculate or just muse quietly.
We can find places of cultural and musical interst, things for children to do and see, arrange bike rides, make reservations, put pre-ordered shopping away, organise baby sitting - or we can just offer a cup of tea and a chat!
The cottage is suitable for four people and one of the bedrooms can be made with twin beds or a double bed. We would need to be informed in advance if guests wished for twin beds. We allow one well behaved dog in the downstairs area only, not upstairs.
The cottage is strictly no smoking.
Twelve years ago I moved from London to The North Cotswolds and bought a beautiful house to run as an 8-bed B&B. I have moved on from there and now live in a small hamlet and have decided to open our attached cottage for self-catering visitors. We are proud of the nationally designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that we live in and would like to share it with others.
