There are many great local pubs and restaurants offering locally sourced food and a warm and friendly welcome. Situated in a quiet area with little traffic, the apartment is within a couple pf minutes walk of the picturesque centre of the town. There are many independent shops from boutiques to antiques and collectables, as well as cafes, restaurants and bars situated along the harbour. If you prefer to cook your own, there is a greengrocers are two award wining butchers, and locally caught fresh fish can be bought on a Saturday . The lighthouse is less than two minutes walk away, and beyond that is the Commons, 16 acres of parkland that runs alongside the coast. There are several beaches, one of which is a stone's throw from the apartment. Also within walking distance are the Water Tower on the old railway line and the Moat which has been recently restored. Both are situated on prominent hills within the town and are excellent places to stop and take in the panoramic view.
