The space

This unique old stone house is located at the entrance to Solomon's Valley, overlooking the Red Sea, and the Edom (Red) Mountains. It stands as the most southern house in the State of Israel.

Williams House was built in 1931 by Lord Leonard Williams, a British intelligent officer and a geologist, who served Her Majesty's Secret Service, spying in Israel.

In 1948, when Israel’s Independence was declared, Williams fled in haste to Jordan aboard his rowing boat (Rumours suggest that he only had one paddle).

Williams house is now a spiritual and ecological centre that offers boutique lodging and conducts both ecological awareness and Mind/Body workshops.

In the house you will find all the amenities needed for a perfect holiday: Cable TV, wifi internet connection, air conditioning, kitchenette (fridge, kettle, coffee and tea). There is also a relaxing sitting area outside, with a magnificent view.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have about the place.

Perfect location in overcrowded Eilat! You stay close to the mountains and nature, which was the most important thing during our holidays. My kids loved the two dogs, which - be aware of that - can be barkling at the night. The house is fully equipped with almost everything you need, although the simple kitchen is too simple and the washing machine is missing. Anyway: 10/10! PS. Adi - our host - gave us also some vouchers to get the discount for some activities such as swimming with dolphins or meals at the beach.

A very nice quiet property in a unique setting for Eilat: out of the main tourist area, surrounded by the desert and with a view of the sea. We really enjoyed our stay here. Eldad was really helpful with many tips about what to do and where to go, and made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommended!

Good contact with Eldad before arrival. Once we arrived, Eldad provided us with many tips to enjoy the region and make sure we would have a great stay. The house is located a little bit outside eilat, 10 min drive (it is better to have a car). It right next to the mountain / desert which creates a quite unique atmosphere and is quite different from the city centre. Property corresponds to what is presented on airbnb.

Williams House is located perfectly between Almog (Coral) Reef and Dolphin Reef in Salomon river valley 5km south of Eilat. Taxi drivers do not know the site, you have to explain precisely where to go to avoid trouble. The place itself is like heaven, a small oasis with a solid old house surrounded by desert mountains and an incredible view over the gulf of Aqaba. Our Hosts, Eldad and Yara are friendly, helpful and nice people. The appartement is great - far bigger than looks at the pictures, extremely clean and comfortable. We have stayed in the Studio for 4 days like we would live there for decades. Having breakfast on the terrace and sitting at the fireplace at the evenings are unforgettable memories. There are two sweet dogs, Lucy and Will always around accepting foreigners quickly. The beauty, quietness and atmosphere of the site is unique - something you cannot experience anywhere else.
