110 year old farm house restored to beyond her old glory in Victorian Chic. 200 acres. 2 acre award winning garden, Fireplace and Air con. LAP POOL. Dogs and Horses Welcome. You are the only occupants with acres to enjoy. 20 min to National Park.

The space

Do you remember when you had cousind in the country?Or maybe you didn't. Well this is your farm for your stay. I literally live at the bottom of the garden and I respect your privacy. There are 3 bedrooms for adults and a small bedroom for 1 child coming off the third bedroom. The master bedroom has an ensuite toilet and hand basin and the main bathroom has the toilet, bath and shower over the bath. The wide, screened Veranda is the place for a quiet drink of an afternoon, or a glorious cuppa in the early morning. It is on the northern and eastern side and streams with sunlight in the morning.

Guest access

You have the garden, the pool, the house , the paddocks, all except the paddocks where the stallion is. Bring your dog and walk up to Keohler Park and let him have a swim. Ride on the areana or ride down to the old campdraft gronds. Stable or yards available.
Have a camp fire in your backyard.
Enjoy the HUGE TV and the massive DVD collection.
The yard has a good fence, and remember you can't stay up the mountain with a dog.
The house has a fantastic eat in kitchen with all the mod cons. The pool is private and for you and your guests only!

Interaction with guests

I can take you for a farm tour to see my beautiful Friesian Stallion and the mares and foals. But, if you want to keep to yourself so will I.

Other things to note

All linen and towels are supplied as is the fire wood for the inside fire.
There is an outside cauldron and we can go and collect firewood on the tractor.

A great place to stay - house had everything you could need, but at the same time felt like you were living in piece of history. Lots of great fun to be had on the farm, seeing the horses (with a few rides for the kids), playing with the pony, and the new puppies! Eleanor was a great host - welcoming and relaxed - really made it a special holiday that we'll all remember.

When we arrived at Eleanor's house we were pleasantly surprised it was nicer than the photos. Eleanor had kindly lit the fire before we arrived so it was nice and warm inside when we arrived at night. Eleanor made us feel very welcome and was very kind to allow our teenage kids a brief ride on her horse. The cat made itself at home in house. It is a friendly cat but may not be ideal if you have allergies. We loved the fact that we could bring along our own dog for the weekend. About 30 minutes from the national park. A good location if you like being somewhere very quiet and feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere. It's lovely hearing the birds in the morning. Eleanor's house is right next door, which was a little closer than we expected, not as private as we thought.

Eleanor is a wonderful hostess and the house and grounds are lovely. The house is extremely well appointed, and Eleanor has gone over and above the norm. We stayed in winter, and the fire kept us snug and warm. A beautiful rear deck to enjoy a quiet coffee, and huge range of DVD's if interested in watching movies. Thanks so much Eleanor from all of us.

Fantastic place for a break. Truly special country house, butterfly attracting flower gardens all around, horses, a very friendly pony, beautiful friendly dogs and cats and that raw energy of the land to soak up. Didn't want to leave.

Eleanor was a gracious host to our family of 4 and our dog. Rosebank was serenely peaceful, with beautiful vistas as you walk around the property, and feeding the animals was a daily highlight. Hopefully we'll be visiting again soon!

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Rosebank. The house was well equipped with comfy beds and a great kitchen. We enjoyed taking in the garden views and scenery from the front verandah. It was just a quick 20 minute trip to the Bunya mountains. An added bonus were the cute and friendly pets.
