We are sharing our home while we're away, as we will be traveling.
Private, spacious, well-lit room in a vegan home in Buenos Aires. Queen bed, private bath, closet, WiFi, quiet and friendly home.
We're directly behind the Congress building and a half a block from the Subte Linea A.
We live in a beautiful pre-war building with high ceilings and French doors. We're directly behind the Congress building and centrally located.
We are a vegan home, but don't mind if you eat and enjoy the local cuisine. However, you're welcome to dine with us and enjoy cooked meals that we prepare in our home.
Subte Linea A is a half block away and we are easily accessible to the buses and most parts of the city.
There are bars, restaurants and parks within blocks of us.
We are also 2.5 km from the Casa Rosada and Plaza de Mayo (about 10 minutes via public transit).
We're a friendly home and though we don't dance tango we're able to introduce you to our many friends here that do.
We do have a cleaning person that cleans the home, but have recently found it necessary to reiterate that this is not a hotel. It is our private home and guests should make efforts to be responsible and to clean up after themselves and keep the common area tidy.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
Guests will have access to all of the shared common areas (kitchen, dining room, movie room). Guests also have a private bath.
Regarding the kitchen we are vegans and only ask that you do not prepare animal products in the kitchen. You're welcome to eat with us and also keep non-perishable items in the room.
Interaction with guests
We work from home, as we are both artists. And as such we are generally free to go out and show guests around during the day or to grab some food or drink at night.
Buenos Aires is a wonderful city with LOTS of nightlife and culture. We're happy to join you in discovering some of the sites and activities.
Other things to note
We live with two amazing vegan dogs. They are pretty low key so we only state this in the event that guests may have any allergies.
If you are in need of a taxi from the airport we can arrange to have a driver pick you up. He's bilingual in the event that you aren't fluent in Spanish.
The ride from EZE is about 30 minutes depending on traffic.
Neither of us smokes, however we do drink wine.
We only ask that guests respect our home, as it's not a hotel. Please keep the common areas tidy and neat. We have a cleaning person, but have recently found it necessary to remind guests to make efforts to clean up after themselves. Simply leave the common areas as you found it. Easy. We have drying racks for wet towels and ask that you use those and not leave wet items in your room.
We are a vegan household. You don't have to be vegan to be a guest, but we don't allow animal-based "food" products in our home. You are welcome to eat with us, as we cook most nights. And you're also welcome to eat whatever else you like outside the home. We just don't allow animal-based "food" items in the home.
Thank you for respecting our home.
I'm a musician. It's what I do. I travel and rather enjoy new cultures and experiences.
I'm a vegan and that's an important part of who I am, as it defines the respect that I have for all living creatures regardless of skin color, gender, or how many thumbs they have.
Life is great. Live it until said time that we cannot live it any longer.
