Self-contained and self-catering en-suite apartment with separate entrance (from main house), located in Didsbury, Manchester's suburb.
This en-suite apartment consists of one room and bathroom. In the room there is a large double bed (real, sprung mattress) on one side and a small kitchen on the other. There is a double wardrobe, a table and chair, and an armchair.
In the bathroom there is a shower (but no bathtub). We provide towels, basic toiletries and a hairdryer, so you don't need to bring yours.
The kitchen has a small fridge with a freezer, a microwave-oven, 2 hotplates, toaster, electric kettle so you can cook small meals or warm up any take-aways. We provide tea, milk, and breakfast cereals.
There is no TV as we don't watch TV and don't have a TV licence but we have wall-mounted 32" flat screen, so you can choose and watch a movie from our DVD collection.
We have free WiFi.
Iron and ironing board are available on demand.
If you have any allergies (feathers, colours, etc.) please let us know in advance.
Guests will only have access to the apartment, not to the main house. A car can be parked on the driveway in front of the house or on the road.
Interaction with guests
As this is a self-contained flat there is little interaction with the hosts in the main house. But we're always happy to help our guests with any inquiries about Manchester and will do our best to make your stay here a welcome and pleasant one.
Other things to note
The aprtment is recently refurbished and very clean.
This is a perfect location between airport and city centre but quiet and peaceful. However, to avoid any misunderstandings I have to say that if you're not driving but commuting by public transport, it might take from 20 to 30 min to the city centre.
We are non-smoker and would like to keep he flat smokeless as well. However, smoking is permitted outside of the flat. After 10 pm we tend to be very quiet and prefer not to hear too much noise from the flat. Thank you very much for this.
Please let us know in advance if you have any special requirement such as alergies etc.
We're from Manchester, UK. I cannot really talk about myself only, as we're together as a family when ever we travel, that is to say my wife, Svetlana, who's a is a bio-medical scientist currently working for The University of Manchester, myself, Eric - a military historian and our daughter Emily.
