The place was wonderful convenient and exactly as described in the AirBnb listing. Although we did not meet Nicholas personally, he was a great host, even taking time out of his busy schedule to direct us when we were lost! He was flexible with check in and check out and once we were inside we had no issues with the apartment. The unit is conveniently located in central Paris and we were able to walk to most sights and the Metro station around the corner. The only tricky part of the unit was the low overhead in the loft area around the bed which may prove an issue for taller people.

Nicholas was very communicative and getting the key after a little hitch was convenient. Loved the location and the minimal decor of the place, the apt is in a commercial building and faces a quiet courtyard. This is great since you are not awakened by garbage and delivery trucks in the morning, even though the elevator did not work while I was there it was not to hard to get up the almost private staircase, unless you have heavy suitcases. The place is very near two of my favorite Parisian places, the Passage des Panoramas- an old glad roofed arcade with a fantastic new Italian cafe/restaurant with a german name, Stern and my favorite dance music venue the Rex Club. If you plan on doing a lot of home cooking, this might not be the place for you since the kitchen facilities are very minimal. Overall I recommend the place.

Nicolas was very easy to communicate with, really helpful and very flexible about checking out. The apartment is tastefully decorated, well located and in a lovely building which remained cool during the heatwave! We used the Paris bikes to get around as there are three stands very close to the apartment but we also walked and used public transport. It's very accessible and there are plenty of coffee shops, bars and restaurants close by. It was our first time using airbnb and we would definitely try it again as it was a very positive experience.

Nicolas was an amazing host. Had a chance to meet him in person; he was very flexible with check in and check out times and was extremely accessible via SMS. Apartment was beautifully decorated and very modern and accurate. Location was great and left awesome restaurant recommendations. Would recommend Nicolas as a host and would recommend his beautiful place!

Communication with Nicolas was great from the outset and we felt instantly welcome. Finding it was easy and he was there to greet us. The apartment is simple but with everything you need and way better than a hotel room for the same sort of money. It's real bonus is the great location in the 2nd. Fifteen minutes from the Opera- we used the Roissy bus from CDG which only stops there and is perfect (buy all your tickets for there and back at the airport machine). Short walking from good eating and drinking in Les Halles or Montmarte or even Marais but quietly tucked away from the busy streets. We walked all over the city but found it convenient enough to pop back in the evening before going out again to eat. The ladder to the mezzanine bedroom is slightly tricky but I slept well!

I've lived and traveled in many countries around the world, and still try to travel as most as I can when time and money allow!

Out of that, I spend my spare time in Paris doing sports, going out with friends, and taking advantage of the infinite possibilites offered by the city in terms of restaurants, concerts, exhibitions,...
