This classic Dolores house has been updated for your comfort. Well located for Motorcycling and biking adventures. Hunters find plenty of places to look for game nearby. 4 wonderful bedrooms and two outdoor decks give you plenty of space. The fully loaded kitchen can accommodate almost any cook's needs after a day of adventure in the beautiful Southwest.
This home has 4 bedrooms to sleep 9. (Queen beds in 3 rooms and a double and a single in one bedroom.) With advance permission you could get several more people easily accommodated with sleeping bags and pads. It is a roomy comfortable home with two lovely open plan upstairs bedrooms.
201 is fully self contained with washer and dryer. Guests access the rest of the compound for recycling.
Interaction with guests
We live on the compound and we enjoy meeting our guests and welcoming them to the area. However, guests are free to choose how much interaction they desire since they have an independent entrance. We have quite a bit of experience in the area being long term residents and are happy to share ideas and information as desired. There is also a pretty extensive book compiled with adventures and ideas of things to do in the area.
This is a family town and we have neighbors next door so keeping noise levels appropriate is important. We love adventurers and families who are out and exploring. Our house is not pet friendly unfortunately. Smoking is permitted outdoors but not indoors.
In college I was forced to come up with my goals for the next 10 and 20 years of my life (30 years ago). The best I could do was to say I would live on all seven continents for at least a year. (But I got to determine the continents because I was not too excited about living in Antarctica). I have lived in 5 so far and feel pretty good about it. Obviously I love travel and people and cultures different from my own. Which makes hosting guests at our home so much fun. We love to meet new people and share the highlights of our part of the world. We also love good food and creative ideas and being busy and involved. Since we live on the same premises as our host home we can be as involved in your stay as you would like. Our experiences as AirBnB guests has also helped us figure out what we can do to improve our home. But it is a pretty sweet space since my husband is a furniture refinisher and a carpenter.
