Fab, relaxed, dog friendly, people friendly village. Set on steep hillside, so wouldn't suit less agile folks. The cottage is homely, very relaxed, all we needed for a lovely break!

The house is an old cottage. Very cosy, with wonderfull lighting. The village on the banks of River Fowey is really authentic and quiet. If you want to be away from hustle, go to Golant.

Paradise Cottage is very quaint and comfortable with loads of character. Golant is a beautiful little village on the banks of the river Fowey. The locals are very friendly and the Fisherman's Arms at the end of the street has good food and even better company. We were fortunate to arrive in time for festival events on both weekends, great fun and the perfect opportunity to meet locals and visitors to swap stories. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and Patrick was in contact several times to ensure all was well. Thanks again Patrick

come back soon Debbie and Matthew! I'm envious – only able to stay 1 day in Paradise in September, looking forward to a bit more in the autumn after the season ends

Paradise Cottage has a home from home feel having been a much loved family home for many years. Patrick has managed to retain this feeling whilst not compromising on mod cons, decoration, etc. which is quite an achievement! I love coming here and Patrick is always a charming and communicative host!

Lovely cottage set in an idyllic location. The cottage is full of character and the views from the terrace of the river are great. The cottage is also in a good location to access a variety of different days out. I would highly recommend a stay in Paradise Cottage.

Paradise Cottage is just as cosy, rustic, well equipped, inspiring and spacious for a family as described, and we absolutely enjoyed (EMAIL HIDDEN)munication with Patrick was perfect, no matter where he was, friends made us feeling to be cared for, not to forget extremely friendly people in the village. We loved our kayaking tour, walks in the closer and farther environment, and every of our day tours made us aware of how much more is to be seen in Cornwall. Patrick gives lots of information about this too. So Paradise Cottage is absolutely recommendable and one of our most favorite holiday locations, unforgettable for our kids of course was the piano!

Paradise cottage is beautiful, full of character and set in a pretty village by a scenic estuary. We arrived having researched places around Cornwall we might like to visit, but realised very soon that Paradise Cottage itself was a great place to spend time, as we slowed down and relaxed, as was Gollant, the beautiful estuary, and the coves and bays nearby. We found everything we needed in the cottage and loved the terrace overlooking the estuary; a wonderful place for a coffee or a drink late in the evening, with just the sound of birds and a couple of dogs having a chat, watching bats flit around under a full moon - wonderful! It is also a great area, new to us, but we found plenty to do and particularly enjoyed a kayak trip on the estuary, looking around the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the beautiful nearby beaches.

Response from Patrick:
thanks Kate for this and your note – Golant is a magical place, I remember growing up here! – and it's lovely the way you made the cottage lived in and met locals in the village. Volta sempre (come back always) - as the Brazilians say! P ;-)
