We had a marvelous one-night stay at La Pélisserie which is possibly the most beautiful house I've ever seen! A sense of harmony reigns here! Clinton and Denise were gracious and welcoming. There was a very convenient parking lot just down the street from the house but which didn't allow parking the following morning (market day). Clinton walked to another place, also nearby, where we found other parking places. The house is perfectly located in the medieval village with easy access to shops and restaurants. La Pélisserie is truly "un havre de paix" (a haven). This centuries-old home is spacious, calm and has been restored with an exquisite sense that values patina, texture, a subtle play of color, and a respect for natural materials (wood, stone, clay, metal). We had a private bathroom with beautiful porcelain and chrome fixtures. No plastic anywhere in this house! We were served a delicious breakfast (bread, yoghurt, juice, granola, herbal tea, etc.) in a lovely dining/sitting room bathed in a golden light with heavenly view out the large window. The photos on the web site give a good indication of its beauty but I would say that it is even more beautiful in person. When we arrived, Clinton was careful to explain the pros and cons of two different rooms and allowed us to choose: one gave onto the street that would come alive early the next morning. The other room tended to be warmer because of its facing. We chose the room facing the market street and even kept the window open (when they're closed, all is silent) to get some air. There was a bit of outdoor noise once or twice during the night but nothing that kept us awake. We were perfectly comfortable and slept well. My husband and I would stay here again at the drop of a hat. Very highly recommended.

Married to co-host Denise. Favourite past travel destinations include Hawaii, Mexico and Greece. I am part Greek and therefore very much enjoy being as close to the Mediteranean as possible.
5 things I can't live without are foreign travel; music; good company; good food and continued good health ! My wife and I have received many guests this year who have all by and large commented on the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere during their stay. Our style of hosting is attentive yet subtle.
