Gratton Road is a charming, well-appointed, two-bedroomed Victorian apartment in the ‘village’ of West London’s Brook Green in Kensington Olympia. The apartment has high ceilings, is light and airy and is decorated and equipped to a high standard. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, on the corner of Milson Road, one of the most desirable roads in the area. This property is a dedicated, professionally run holiday rental business, and not a rental in someone's home. Though we have made it extremely homely!
This spacious apartment has a large living room and separate dining area with seating for up to six guests. There is a well equipped modern kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven & hob, microwave and full cooking equipment. There is a widescreen TV in the sitting room with all freeview channels, and DVD. Also a Bowers & Wilkins ‘Zeppelin’ docking station and Wi-Fi broadband access. The property is cleaned weekly, and there is also a washing machine available. There is security intercom access from the street below.
Gratton Road has two well-proportioned bedrooms, one with King size bed, made by the fantastically comfy Loaf, and plenty of storage space, the other with two twin beds which can be attached. There is a modern bathroom with travertine tiling and new bath and shower, and plenty of hot water. Towels and bed linen are provided.
This area of West London is within easy reach of Heathrow Airport (20 mins by car or taxi), the heart of uber chic Kensington & Chelsea, London’s glorious Holland and Hyde park s and the amazing new shopping centre at Westfield. There are many nearby Tube stations for access to central London, and one of the best gastro pubs in London, the Havelock Tavern, as well as many acclaimed restaurants in close proximity.

We will be on hand for any information that the guests require, we work in the travel media so are happy to share our local knowledge with guests. Any problems, Andy the faithful handyman will also be on hand. As will Ana the indomitable housekeeper ...

Please note: Check in is at 3pm. Check out is at 11am. We try to be flexible with this wherever possible, but it is frequently not possible due to other bookings. To guarantee an early check in, guests would need to also book the night the before so that we can block that date out on the calendar. Or you can use the fabulous AirPortr bag delivery service to get your bags delivered later in the day. And there are also handy left luggage facilities around London which we can give you the details of.
Please also note: We do not have a 24 hour reception desk for keys and arrivals. It is therefore VERY important that guests communicate any delays in arrival or flight times, either while en route or before that time, so that we can facilitate your arrival and collection of keys. We will NOT be responsible if the keys are not collected at the arranged time, and this will result in guests having to pick up keys from a third party location in Acton. (Hence also why it is very important that we have guests’ flight numbers so we can track the flight online.)
