Exceeded all expectations and then some! Made our Hudson Valley autumn weekend one to remember. Mark, the owner, is a gracious, personable, charismatic host who kindly shares this gem of an estate with all of his guests. The rooms and common areas of the home are smartly appointed and have the feel of a high end boutique in midtown. The grounds have multiple sitting areas with various adirondack chairs and and loungers all facing the scenic Catskills Mtns and valley. After the sunset there was a complimentary happy hour and camp fire giving guests the option to socialize if they choose. They make a mean Manhattan if you do! We enjoyed our stay so much we actually altered all our weekend plans to visit the Vanderbilt, Roosevelt, and Sleepy Hollow highway 9 tour on our way back to the city. The village of Saugerties was cute too and had more than enough charm as it pertains to dining and shopping options. Highly recommend this place to anyone. We will be back !! J

When we arrived, Mark walked us through the house and told us all about its history, brought us up to our room and gave us basic instructions on breakfast and happy hour. Such a warm introduction to the area and a great location away from noise, but accessible to all. The Bluestone is a most tastefully appointed home, I only wish we stayed longer.

We had a really nice time. The house is beautiful and the view is really nice. Mark and Ryan could not have been nicer and more welcoming. Happy hour was great and we also enjoyed the breakfast. Low key and very accessible. Room was very nice and the decor throughout the house was really nice. We will be back!

Lovely b&b with awesome mtn views as described. Super friendly - Ryan helped us with luggage, poured us stiff drinks from their bar and welcomed our pooch like a family member. Cant say enough about this spot - worth the trip and great restaurants inearby in Suagertoes (esp Miss Lucy's)

From the time we arrived at this lovely guesthouse, greeted by our host with a warm fire and a glass of wine, until we left after a breakfast of fresh croissants, muffins, coffee, yogurt and fruit, we enjoyed the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere and great conversation. Views are gorgeous in the fall. Lots to do in Saugerties.

We had a lovely time at the base camp. The room was immaculate, the bathroom was huge and sparkling. The view from the room was beautiful. They left us chocolates. The house has a relaxed and stylish vibe. Mark and Ryan provided great restaurant recommendations and served great cocktails for happy hour. We couldn't have asked for better hosts or surroundings. Highly recommended!
