Our family house is in the heart of the city in an area called the North Laine. Our area is full of cafes, restaurants, boutique shops, bars, artist studios and is a vibrant part of the city. 2 mins from train station, 10 mins from sea.

The space

We have a four floor terrace house. On Ground floor we have a double reception and galley kitchen both with floor to ceiling fold back doors onto our patio. In the basement we have another reception/bedroom with 2 beds (double or 2 singles), tv and own bathroom (only shower). On the first floor we have two further bedrooms (one double and one single) and a family bathroom. In the loft room we have a large bedroom which sleeps one.

Guest access

All guests will have full access to the house except for 2 rooms which will be locked at all times (one in the basement and one at the back of the kitchen)

Interaction with guests

We are renting the house out while we are away on holiday but if there are any issues or questions then feel free to contact us or contact one of local contacts whom we will tell you about.

Other things to note

We have access to Netflix, Sky Films + Entertainment and the use of our Sonos system in the ground floor lounge and in the kitchen. The house if fully central heated with underfloor heating in basement bathroom if needed. All linen, towels, basic toiletries will be provided. We have an outside BBQ with coals which can be used. Coals are in the garden shed.

We expect guests to treat the property as they would there own home and to remain aware of keeping the noise to a minimum after 11.30pm to reduce impact on immediate neighbours. Please where possible do not wear shoes on the carpets (first and second floor and basement). Please make sure the door is firmly closed whenever you leave the house. There are no pets allowed in the house (as my wife is allergic) and no smoking anywhere in the property except outside on the patio.

Elliot was very easy to communicate with throughout the whole booking process. He was at the end of his phone all the time and replied to questions quickly. The house itself was exactly what we were after. It was clean, tidy and spacious. It was close to an unlimited supply of shops, restaurants and bars and was a fair distance from the pier to enjoy a stroll in the sunshine. The house is spread across 4 floors and is deceptively large. There's 2 good size bathrooms with 2 showers and 2 toilets. Certainly enough room for a group of 6. We'd all happily return to Elliot's house again :)
