We live in a recently refurbished 6 bedroomed house in Surrey, approximately 15 minutes' walk from Woking Station and the town centre, with 4 double rooms and one single room available for rent, all with ensuite facilities and TVs. The single room is only suitable for a child, is currentlyunlisted but available on request. Children are very welcome and we have toys and equipment for all ages included in the per night room charge.
We also have a self contained annexe, suitable for 2 people to share, and with a double bedroom, bathroom, living room with kitchen area, TV, wifi, central heating etc. It is possible to accommodate children, either one baby for whom we can provide a cot, or two older children who could sleep on the sleeping platforms, but this last arrangement must be agreed by all parties before the booking is confirmed.
There is ample car parking in the driveway and the bus stop is 5 mins walk from the house with a regular service to Woking town centre, the station and to the surrounding area.
It's a perfect base for you as you visit the south-east of England or the theatres and museums of London, with trains taking 28 minutes to Waterloo Station.
If you are here on a business trip, we have wifi throughout the house so it's easy for you to keep in touch with colleagues, family and friends and you can use the internet or the printer at any time. Most of our rooms have desks, or you can use the desk in the living room or in the study so even on holiday you can stay connected.
We are near the motorway network making it easy to get to Windsor Castle, Hampton Court Palace, Wisley Gardens, Brooklands Motor Museum, Wimbledon for the tennis and Henley for boating, just to name a few places well worth a visit. Heathrow and Gatwick airports are 45 minutes drive away from the house, and there are regular bus and train services from both airports to Woking, our nearest town. The coast is an hour's drive away. Woking Golf Club is within walking distance, and the house adjoins the local Anglican Church. Places of worship for all the main religions are also nearby.
One bedroom is on the ground floor and has wheelchair access. There is a large living room and a separate dining room if you wish to entertain, supported by Cordon Bleu dining options, 4 acres of secluded gardens to walk in, and a terrace complete with barbecue for less formal occasions. We have wifi throughout the house so you can keep in touch with family and friends and use the internet at any time. There is also a fully equipped office for those who need to work whilst on holiday or just want to keep in touch with the family back home.
The village is 5 minutes walk away and boasts a good range of restaurants, shops, hairdressers and beauty salons. There is a regular bus service to the nearby town and the railway station. The nearest towns are Guildford and Woking and between them they offer great shops, ice skating, bowling, swimming, theatres and cinema and much more.
We speak French and German, a little Italian and Japanese, and some Russian. We also have two friendly, well behaved and rather ancient Labradors who are very child friendly. Visiting dogs by appointment only please.

Our guests are welcome to enjoy the whole downstairs of the house and the garden, along with the terrace, outdoor seating and barbecue.
Interaction with guests
We thoroughly enjoy chatting with our guests and to getting to know them, but we fully appreciate that some will prefer their own privacy in the evenings. In that case, we have a snug, complete with desk, wifi and TV so that they can do their own thing.
Other things to note
There is a good range of restaurants and takeaways in the village, or if guests prefer to prepare their own meals, the kitchen is fully equipped with fridge and freezer space to store groceries. A list of the phone numbers of restaurants and details of nearby supermarkets will be found in the room.
1.This is a non smoking household and we would appreciate your respecting this condition. Smoking can be done in the garden or on the terrace.
2.If you have a car, please don't block any other cars in, there is ample parking in the drive for all.
3.Please call if you plan to return late in the evening and respect the neighbourhood by being as quiet as you would wish your neighbours to be.
4.Children are welcome to accompany their parents, but please discuss their ages and requirements before confirming your booking. We cannot be responsible for any accidents which the children may have either in the house or in the garden though we will do all we can to ensure that this is a safe environment for them.
5.Please treat the house as you would your own home and remember that any damage to the property, furnishings or the owners' possessions must be paid for before departure.
6.The main house rule is that you enjoy a comfortable, peaceful and happy stay with us. We will do all we can to make sure this is the case, but please let us know if you have any problems or need any help during your stay.
