The Someday Soon is ideal for those looking for a unique Key West experience. This vintage Mason, a cult classic in the sailing world, is detailed with beautiful woodwork and a midcentury modern meets sailor interior. Comfortable and airy with large side windows that open up to let nature in. The perfect place to relax on the water while still enjoying everything Key West has to offer.

Captian Troy did a great job. Very luxurious to have Captian Troy take us out for a sail! Accommodates two easily. We took the dingy out to a sandbar and enjoyed stand up paddle boarding in the harbor. Rental bikes really made the stay.

A beautiful location that's only a short drive from downtown. Very relaxing and comfortable, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique stay in Key West.

Troy & Lauren Thompson have been living and working on the water for the past decade. As 2nd Engineer and Chief Stewardess the couple worked and traveled all over the world on 200 foot mega yachts. The experience taught them an unparalleled level of service and their extensive travel through over 30 countries gave them the knowledge and experience to embark on their own journey.
In 2010 the couple left the yachting industry to purchase their own sailboat. The 48 foot Someday Soon became their new home and project. They spent the first year working on giving the boat a face lift and updating all the electronic systems on board.
They couple left the states in November 2012 to embark on their 3-4 year journey. They spent the next 6 months traveling through the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, & Spanish Virgin Islands before reaching the USVI & BVI. They plan on being in the Caribbean until 2016 at which time their future on the boat will depend on if and when a mini sailor comes into the picture.
