Farah's place was an amazing place and the perfect way to start my trip in Cuba. She schedule my transportation from the airport which was prompt and safe. She had someone waiting for me when I arrived. I was given maps and directions about how to get around. Breakfast was amazing! Also, I needed a little bit of a later check out. She was totally accommodating. The location was perfect. Walking distance from restaurants and a lot of sight seeing! I strongly suggest staying here!

The location along a nice leafy street is also convenient to a main street and easy to get into town. There is a nice sitting area (great for a relaxing coffee!) on a patio, which opens into a very traditional sitting room. A beautiful house! Breakfast was very enjoyable each morning too

Our stay in Cuba was really nice! The flat is super clean and located in a save neighbourhood. Annabel is a lovely and caring host! She prepares you a delicious breakfast every morning and answers all your questions. It was sad that we didn't meet Farah. She is not living in Havana and just manages the listing from Switzerland. The Casa has three bedrooms so you have the chance to meet and connect with the other guests. Find out if Annabel is still in charge there before you book the place, because she is the heart and soul of the Casa.

Farah

We had a great stay at this air bnb - it was perfect to explore the Vedado area of Havana. The room is one of three air bob rooms, so we didn't meet Farah but the housekeeper Annabel was there to meet us on arrival and for breakfasts (great omelettes!). There was an issue with the running water one night, but Annabel ensured it was back on by the following evening so it didn't really cause us any inconvenience. Overall a great stay!

I think the photos are accurate. The house is very clean and Anabel, the host/housekeeper when we stayed was completely lovely. She made us breakfast in the morning, left us bottled water, and arranged our taxi services. Home is located in a Vedado, a nice neighborhood about 2 miles from old town Havana. 23rd is a main drag that had restaurants (great Iranian spot close by), wifi spot, and bus stop for the tourbus. To get to the sights in the old town we either walked, took a cab (expensive unless you are a good haggler), or used the tourbus that has a stop about a 15 min walk from the house (10 CUC pass for all day on and off trips). I think this is a great alternative to staying in the very expensive old town. I would just make sure to budget extra for transportation or be prepared to walk.
