Hazel is a really great and helpful host. She was always available for us. She knows the area well. Great person. You can tell her business is important to her.

Hazel is great and very helpful. The condo grounds are beautiful. Very relaxing to sit by the pool and listen to the creatures in the trees. Close to Quepos and walking distance to a few restaurants. Bus stop close for rides to Manuel Antonio. It was nice to have a small kitchenette with fridge, hot plate, French press for coffee, blender, etc. the basics. Small front patio with table and chairs. This as a perfect place to sit and have coffee or breakfast.

This condo sits in a beautiful, secluded tropical setting surrounded by beautiful grounds, plants and lots of wildlife. We only stayed for 3 nights but saw 2 sloths daily in the trees (evidently they live in the tree by the pool) and saw monkeys in the morning and evenings in the trees feet from the pool. We also heard and saw parrots fly over daily. The condo is 1/2 a block from the buses, which run every 1/2 hour or so, making it convenient to get to all of the restaurants, stores, beaches, NP and Quepos. Very easy to navigate the buses and very cheap (+/- .60¢). There are a few restaurants near the condo, but most eateries and stores will require a short bus ride. The condo is very safe and secure and there are about 10 - 12 other units in this beautiful complex allowing us to interact with several other guests while we were there. There is a picture of a safe in the descriptions, but it was not working (or we never really figured it out) during our stay, but we felt totally fine without it. The unit is very clean and had all the basics we needed for our short stay. Hazel also provided fresh ground coffee and sugar and a few other amenities, which was a pleasant surprise!

Lovely place to stay. Secluded but also near to both MA and Quepos. Perfect for some privacy and space. Everything need in the apartment, from towels (pool, beach, bath etc) to well equipped kitchen. Hazel very helpful and helped in trying to ring the bus company for us when we realised we'd left something.

A wonderfull place. A very good reception from Hazel. We seemed to be in a jungle with monkey and sloth. The villa was very comfortable. One word: Amazing. Don't hesitate. You will see a paradise

Hazel User ProfileHazel is a superhost.

I landed in Manuel Antonio from the UK in 2007 on an adventure to study spanish and scuba dive. I fell in love with the country, the culture, the language and wanted to explore more. I made my travels around Latin America and somehow always ended up back in Costa Rica to visit friends. 2.5 years after my first visit I made the decision to stay and have loved it ever since. The air is fresh, the sun is always shining and people live day-to-day based on "pura vida" - the national phrase which means "pure life"!
