This apartment is amazing .. So close to everything and well setup. I arrived early and was met by Lorenzo who kindly let me drop by bag off whilst the apartment was being cleaned. On my return Lorenzo highlighted some places to go and visit and to eat and drink. All feat recommendations especially the gelato shop.! The horses going passed in the morning was such an amazing way to wake up. Loved the balcony especially whilst having breakfast and Florence was quiet . I was travelling alone and felt very safe there. I would definitely definately go back and stay again or at another of their properties. .

The location of this appartment is excellent, very central, yet surprisingly quiet in the evenings. We particularly enjoyed having meals on the terrace but also liked the cosiness of the sitting room on a colder night.

The apartment was very comfortable, the terrace is great, it was close to Ponte Vecchio and Galleria degli Uffici. Lorenzo, the host's son welcomed us well and had prepared a map of Florence with nice spots to see and good restaurants to go to which was nice. We just hadn't seen in the description that there was a city tax so just so you know it is per person 2,50 euros per night. Otherwise, the description of the apartment on airbnb was accurate, the place was clean and all in all we enjoyed our stay very much. I strongly recommend this place!

We didn't meet the hosts during our 7 night stay in Florence, though they always replied promptly and politely when we contacted them. Instead we were met by their son who was pleasant and briefly showed us around the apartment. When we were left to ourselves we had a good look around and discovered the terrace. Florence was our last stop on quite a long trip around Italy and we planned on having some relaxation, which is why we chose this place mainly based on the terrace. However we were hugely disappointed to find that the view was totally obscured by a building / construction site on the building to the left. Though we appreciate this is not the fault of the hosts we would have appreciated knowing about this beforehand so we could consider whether to stay elsewhere or not, again purely based on the fact we wanted to just relax on the terrace and enjoy the view. Also, it's worth noting there is an apartment above the terrace with a window that overlooks it. The place itself is spacious and the location cannot be faulted, if you want to stay right bang in the middle of Florence near all the sites and attractions. A downside to the location for us was noise, which starts from about 6am onwards. We personally found it extremely difficult to sleep after 6am due to the loud noises seemingly from deliveries and trash collections from the street below, even with the windows and shutters down we still found it too loud to truly rest. Also, though the air conditioning is fair, we found it extremely loud so having it on at night meant we had broken sleep too. We can only comment on our own experience and point of view but for us, staying a week made these issues seem worse, if you were planning on staying in Florence for a short stay we would have no hesitation at all in recommending the place, the hosts are very nice as is the location, and the place itself is good on the whole. However if you are planning on staying longer than a few days, or are light sleepers such as us, you might struggle slightly.

We recommend this apartment without hesitation. The best features are the elevator, the AC, the cleanliness, the bathroom, the washing machine and dryer... and of course the location!!! We were there during a heat wave, and it was perfect to take a nap in the heat of the day between attractions. The apartment is very modern, and the hosts really went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. Their recommendations were perfect. We'll go back!

We had a thoroughly great 8 nights in this beautiful apartment. It's very comfortable and a home from home. We were met by Lorenzo, a thoroughly helpful and great guy. The location is fantastic and Florence is very walkable, even through the crowded streets! Can highly recommend the wine bar just around the corner, next to the Ponte Vecchio, a small and modern place. Can highly recommend staying here!

We had a great stay at this apartment. It is 30 seconds away from the Ponte Vecchio, so the location is so central, but luckily when you are in the apartment it isn't loud. Having A/C was key as it was so hot in Florence when we were there, although in the evenings we could enjoy being out on the patio as it would cool down a little. At check in we got a nice run down of restaurants and tips from Marta, and we appreciated that the apartment had a washer. Overall, a nice apartment!
