We had a wonderful time taking a break at the farm house away from electronics out in the country. We cannot wait to stay again!

This quaint and very charming farmhouse is located along the backroads of some of the most beautiful scenery in East Tennessee. Once you become familiar with roads, you'll soon realize how close you are to both Elizabethton and Johnson City. This is the perfect location for anyone visiting Milligan College, as the college is just a couple miles away. The house is a beautifully restored farmhouse with hardwood floors through out. The kitchen is up to date and fully functional and well supplied for cooking at home. The bathroom has a claw foot bathtub with shower and is very inviting to those who love to soak in a bubble bath. My favorite place ... The Front Porch!

We had a terrific stay in this classic old farm house, which was furnished appropriately. The large, hilly property is fairly secluded by the surrounding trees, yet has several neighbors within a "stones throw". So it is not completely isolated. It served a great central location for us as we explored both the Johnson City are and the Cherokee National Forest. Leave some time for evening “front porch sitting”. Birds are abundant, and we even had a deer sprint across the back yard late one afternoon. The owners were great to work with and had the check in/out process well honed.

It is obvious John takes great pride in the house and worked very hard to prepare it for us! It is a lovely farmhouse, comfortable, and plenty of space for the kids. Super close to some amazing hiking trails and very quiet and secluded.
