Charming, cozy and perfect for a trip to Normandy. We stayed for a family trip and the classic country chateau perfectly set the atmosphere. Marc (our host) was kind, responsive and fortunately spoke English. The place is wonderful and I would definitely recommend. Some notes - the 3rd story bedrooms do require some ducking of the head, as the ceilings are low. Cell reception inside the thick stone building is understandably poor; additionally, the WIFI does not make it to the 3rd floor.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Note that the 3 bedrooms and bathroom in the top floor have a very low A frame type ceiling, so be prepared to walk with your head down. Lots of bedrooms and space for a crowd. Top floor has small bath with shower and second level has large bath with tub/shower. Kitchen is well equipped. Our kids really enjoyed the gardens and the swing set and watching the horses. A beautiful countryside setting. The house is a perfect location for visiting D day beaches.

We were a group of 7 adults and 2 children age 9and 3 months. The house was exactly as the photos showed. We loved all the authenticness of the place and there was plenty of room for everyone.Bedrooms and bathrooms were all of generous sizes. Towels and bedding were included and very clean. The host always had someone available as they lived in the out buildings behind the house as one evening we needed help with WIFI and it was no problem. I would recommend if renting you do have a GPS or location device with you. As the French country roads do not run on any kind of a grid and we seem to loose our home each time we left it. (Was easy with the GPS) . Marc and family were wonderful to deal with. Thank you for a great experience.

Lovely and peaceful farmhouse in a great location with easy access to all the major sights. Catherine and Marc were wonderful hosts. The house was so well appointed and the garden was amazing and had lots of fun things for the children to do including picking fresh cherries from the tree. Kitchen is small but very functional. We highly recommend as a wonderful stay for families. There were nine of us and plenty of room. Merci Catherine and Marc!

We absolutely loved staying here! The house was very clean and well kept. They were very welcoming on arrival and checked in on us to make sure everything was ok and that we didn't need anything. The location is perfect for someone who wants to tour the Normandy region and wants to experience living like a local. Our children loved having a space to run in the beautiful garden as well. If we are able to come back to this area we will definitely stay here again.
