My name is Marianne, I am an English teacher and I rent my studio (30 square meters) in the 12th district of Paris for short periods of time in the school year and during the school holidays.
I live on the 12th floor of a nice building with a little garden in the front. The building has 2 safety codes and a concierge. The area is very safe anyway, even at night.
The studio has a big wall window with a panoramic view on Paris (you can see the Sacré Coeur, the Eiffel Tower, the Defense, Notre-Dame, the Panthéon, etc.).
The apartement is very light (the sun comes in all day) and you can see the sunset behind the Eiffel Tower every night !). Don't worry though, there are blinds you can close at night if you need darkness to sleep.
I live in a very nice area , with nice bars, restaurants and cafés nearby, and the building is between two stations (ation and Reuilly-Diderot) where you can take several lines (metro lines 1, 2, 6, 8, 9 and the RER A) which will take you anywhere in Paris in no time .
I also live only two stations from the Bois de Vincennes, a big lovely wood with a big lake where you can go and have a walk or a picnic.
There is a supermarket just outside the building and a lot of shops nearby. There is also a bike station just in front of the building if you want to ride around Paris.
I have a big bed, a bathtub, internet and a washing-machine.
The studio is very well equiped : you'll have sheets and towels (which you won't have to pay extra money for), a hair dryer, a coffee machine, an oven, etc. so you can be as comfortable as can be.
I live in my studio fulltime but if you rent it, I will leave and stay with some friends or with my parents for a short period of time so you can have the place to yourself and enjoy Paris, and I'll be here for you if you have any questions or need any help to make your stay agreeable.
Looking forward to hearing from you !
PS : I have a cat. It goes without saying that I clean the studio thoroughly before I let anyone move in, but sometimes some cat hair remains even if you can't see it, so if you are very allergic to cat hair I suggest you don't rent my studio, because it might be a problem no matter how hard I clean beforehand.
