Iason was great to communicate with - very responsive and helpful. He has a lovely apartment in lively Dalston, close to restaurants and transport options. We loved his interesting book & music collections.

Very nice would highly recommended and the location is close by central. However, the locks to the main door and the apartment door were a bit of a pain to open as the locks were old I think and I took us about 10 minutes every time we tried to enter the place.

The apartment was great, and in a great location just across the street for Dalston Junction Overground. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants in the area. The only negative thing was the loud noise from traffic, sirenes and people from the main street outside the window - it kept me awake most of the first night. So be sure to bring earplugs. Otherwise an excellent apartment, with great facilities. Communicating with Iason was efficient and easy, and he provided us with a lot of useful information about the area, directions and the apartment.

Dear Trine, glad you like the apartment and facilities! I left a supply of earplugs in the bathroom cabinet for light sleepers - hope you found them during your stay :)

We stayed in this apartment for more than a month and found it a convenient base to explore London. There is a choice of 2 train stations within walking distance and it takes around 30 mins to get from this apartment to central parts of London. The apartment is also located in a hip area with many cafes, bars and restaurants, and the host was kind enough to leave us a list of recommendations on where to go in the vicinity. The Ridley Road Market was our particular favourite, as it offers fruits at wholesale prices, and we visited almost every day for fresh supplies. The apartment itself was full of nice amenities, like the coffee beans, grinder and aeropress provideded by the host, which allowed us to enjoy good coffee every morning. The host also gave us free access to his nice collection of books, great sound system, printer and yoga mat, which we really appreciated. The only drawback of the place is that it can get quite noisy sometimes, with loud police/ambulance sirens and revelers on Friday nights. However, London is a vibrant city and it is generally noisy, unless you are staying far away from main roads and train stations. Once we started closing the windows, the noise became more manageable. Also initially unlocking the doors was not very straightforward; if it doesn't work, push the key different ways until it does. Overall, we would recommend a stay in this apartment, as we had an enjoyable time here.

I booked Iason's flat for my parents. It is a very nice, well equipped, modern flat as described in the ad. However, the bedroom faces the main street which is quite noisy also at night. If you are a light sleeper a couple of earplugs could be useful. Iason was nice and helpful, even when his Airbnb management service sent us the wrong instructions to get into the house, thus leaving us wait for about one hour upon arrival, before the issue was eventually solved. Overall my parents had a nice stay and the flat is conveniently located close to the overground and many buses.

Iason's flat is well-maintained and in a great location - right in the heart of Dalston, a vibrant, multi-cultural area of London with lots of great cafes, bars and restaurants. It's very well placed for access to the City - the West End is a little further but not at all out of reach. The flat has plenty of room, and a good selection of books and records. The kitchen area is very modern and well-equipped, but it's very small - so it's a better flat for those who like to eat out than to do lots of cooking. And you should be aware that it's a busy, vibrant but quite noisy area, but that shouldn't put you off. We stayed for two weeks and had a great time.

Dear Phil, Many thanks for the positive review - it was great to have you to stay. Regarding the kitchen I wanted to let my guests know that it comes complete with a fan oven, microwave and four electric hobs (as well as an extraction fan). I cook there myself fairly frequently - and have added a photo - though I appreciate people have different preferences! Best wishes, Iason

I stayed at the flat with a few friends for one night and there was plenty of space for us all to relax and sleep comfortably. The host was very helpful and polite and replied to my queries promptly and clearly. If I stay in the area again, I will definitely look into staying at this flat again.
