A totally renovated apartment in the centre of Polichrono right by the sea. It offers a relaxing sofa in the living room that converts into a bed for 2 and a master bedroom with queen size bed. There is a brand new open kitchen, fully equipped, in the living room, a private bathroom with shower, a furnished private balcony with a view to our private yard. Renovated on May 2021.

The space
Aegean Blue Suite is located in the heart of Polichrono, in the center of the village, on the seaside street. The distance to the sandy beach in front of the property is just 20m.

The apartment facilities include A/C and a fully equipped open kitchen in the living room with Nespresso coffee maker, refrigerator, stove, cooking utensils, dishware, kettle, where guests can cook whatever they like. There is also a single bed that serves as a sofa, with a second single bed underneath it.

The bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and has a private balcony with with a view to our garden. In the bedroom there is also a vanity, a closet with hangers and a deposit and a flat screen TV access to not only local but also satellite channels.
The apartment has also a private bathroom with a cabin shower and a hairdryer.

As for our external facilities, there is a traditional stone barbeque available in our yard for the barbeque lovers. We have also installed an outdoor shower at the front yard for the convenience of our guests, as the close proximity of our Villa to the beach makes the multiple splashes through the day possible!
For our young guests we also provide babycots upon request.

Polichrono, Greece

Spending your vacation enjoying the sandy beach of Polichrono village, located on the Kassandra peninsula, just 100 km from Thessaloniki, is absolutely worth it. The beach stretches over an impressive seven kilometres, and besides enjoying the sea breeze and the crystal clear waters, you may also choose from the water sports available along the beach, including sea canoeing, pedal boating and jet-skiing, which are available all along the beach.

This village stands out due to its historical significance, as ongoing excavations constantly reveal lost treasures from antiquity. Polichrono means “long lived” after all! Specifically, you can see the forested hill of the ancient city citadel, the ancient cemetery and the early Christian church with its marble columns. There is a folk museum in the village, featuring exhibits from the rural and family life of the first inhabitants, including a traditional loom and other weaving related items, a press, screens, etc.

Inside the village and next to the pedestrian zone along the beach, you will find restaurants, where you can taste the local cuisine, as well as bars, cafes and little shops. Take this opportunity to admire the old stone houses, the church of Saint Athanassios, built in 1912, and the church of the Birth of Christ, dating back to 1863.

I am a Kassandra native, born and bred in Polichrono, where I also reside permanently for at least half of the year.

The last 25 years I am a tourism professional, second generation, as I run the family business, a boutique hotel for family vacation.

Travelling and photography are my two passions. I love visiting different places, learning about other cultures, tasting local flavors and meeting new people. My goal is to visit at least two different countries every year!

During my travels, I have also stayed in Airbnb’s and hotels, so I have first hand experience in hospitality both sides, not only as host but also as guest. Personally I don’t see hospitality as a job, but as a way of life, a fulfillment of its real meaning, as the Greek word for it is philoxenia.
