I want to be very honest about this cottage so you'll all know what to expect. First the bad.. Bring your own drinking and cooking water, the water from the tap is really really bad tasting. The few other things is the house needs a good cleaning. Floors were not clean. We wore ou…

Response from Tadhg:
Hi Jim, Thanks for your review. Our water comes from a natural mountain spring, doesn't contain any added chemicals etc. Never had a complaint before. Some have mentioned how soft it is. I will mention to my cleaner about the floor, thanks for mentioning it, The beds were replaced last year and there are ample replacement linens for guest if they prefer a different type. Glad you enjoyed the stunning views. Tadhg

Tadhg's apartment is awesome, the location is simply beautiful but not suitable for everyone; it is rather high up and is reached by a skinny winding road but the views are unbeatable. We would love to come back.

The isolation of the cottage is what you book this place for and it truly is what you get. We were lucky to have a short window from the storms and managed to watch the sun set over the Skellig Islands before the storms rolled in and battered kerry for the remained of our stay. T…

Your neighbours will be sheep and perhaps a farmer or two depending on the time of year. This property is incredibly secluded and wild, and will allow you to totally re-connect with nature away from t…
