The chalet was at first sight clean and the Bed had fresh sheets . But we noticed a wet, damp smell. Since we wanted to wash our clothes we discovered that the washing machine was still wet and in the door seal was a disgusting greenish slime. After cleaning that up we discovered the source of the bad smell: there were still wet clothes in the dryer. So we dried those as well. Additionally some of the dishes and the cutlery were sticky. Overall our impression was that preparation of the chalet has not been finished when we arrived. Being warned about the nearby trains they didn't bother us at all. The communication of Robin and Ana has been, very nice, helpful and prompt. If it hadn't been for the cleanliness we would recommend this place.

Great little place close to the centre of town. Was a little worried about the trains after the reviews but it really wasn't an issue as trains stopped about midnight. Comfy cosy place with a lovely garden, pond, seating outside and vegetable patch! Place was clean, comfortable and a few minutes walk to town. Paid for parking in Guildhall as it was the easiest option for us. There is a little alleyway we pulled into to unload and load. The George and Dragon pub was a great last-minute decision for dinner but get there early! Next time I'd take mozzie repellent as got bitten sitting in pub garden and the garden by pond. Excellent value for money, great location too.

I had a lovely short-term stay at Robin and Ana's place. The chalet had everything I needed and the bed was super comfortable, which is always a wonderful thing! The chalet is a couple of minutes walk away from the town centre and main train station, so very convenient and easy to get around. I really enjoyed my stay at Robin and Ana's place and really appreciated their excellent communication. Their place is a lovely base from which explore the town of Sandwich.

We really enjoyed our stay at Robin and Ana's, Sandwich is a beautiful town. It was a very close walk to the station as we used this to get to Margate. Very comfortable bed and had all the amenities we needed.

Had a great weekend stay at Robin and Ana's place. They weren't home over the weekend but left everything in Kirsty's capable hands - she was very quick to respond to any query. The trains going past wasn't an issue for us and they seemed to stop before midnight anyway.
