We often have same day checkin's and checkouts. Our check-in time is after 3pm and our checkout time is before 10am. But should you need to drop your bags for an early check-in or leave bags for a late checkout, just ask Superhost - if they can accommodate it they definitely will.

Superhost will show you the in's and out's of both the apartment as well as the building.

Once you have dumped your bags they will even give you a little walkthrough of the local area. Or if you are not up for it right away, point you in the direction of the Cape Town Tourism office.

Other things to note

-In addition to the cleaning before checkin, the apartment is cleaned once a week for guests staying longer than a week. Should you wish to have the apartment cleaned more often we can arrange this at an additional cost. The same applies to changing towels and bedding more than once a week.

- Being in the heart of Cape Town night life, there is of course some street noise that makes its way up to the 8th floor apartment. We have gone to the expense of fitting double-glazed windows in the main bedroom which dampens the bulk of this noise. As such the noise is not really something to worry about but perhaps something light sleepers should consider before booking.

The listing has capped fibre wifi internet.
- The line is capped at 200GB day time data and 1,000GB night time data (between 00:00 and 07:00).
- In order to ensure that all guests have internet during the month we have calculated fair usage as 200GB / 30 days = 6.67GB per day day time data and 1000GB / 30 days = 33.33GB per day night time data.
- We will check usage at the end of the guests' stay and determine if it was well in excess of the above "limits".
- If that is the case we may charge the guest at our very reasonably priced fibre top up rates as follows: R99 for 20GB, R199 for 50GB, R299 for 100GB.

- Respect your neighbours: you might be on holiday but some of our neighbours are not. So no loud music or visitors after 10pm.

- Observe the building rules: we will run you through some of the building rules upon arrival. These mostly relate to noise, guests, use of communal space and smoking. Do not break these rules as you will be held accountable for any penalties.

- Maximum of 6 overnight guests allowed.

- No smoking in the apartment. Smoking is permitted on the balcony. Do not dispose of cigarette butts over the balcony. Please collect the butts in an ashtray on the balcony and dispose of them along with other refuse.

- Our cleaning lady will clean the apartment before your arrival and then once a week for longer stays. She has a key to the apartment to let herself in. She is very reliable and there is no need to worry about theft. Please notify me if you do not wish to have her clean the apartment.

- A key replacement fee of $35 will apply if keys are lost and must be paid before checkout or will be recovered using the Airbnb resolution center.

- The fibre line is capped at 200GB day time data and 1,000GB night time data (between 00:00 and 07:00). As such we consider 6GB per day fair day time use of this facility (which should be more than enough). A superb location right in the middle of Long street, close to great cafes, supermarkets and easy access to go further afield. Great views of table mountain from the large balcony. Two good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large living room. Comfy beds, a great shower, secure parking, everything you could need in the kitchen also. We had a lovely stay in Cape Town, wish it could have been longer. Be aware, if you are coming to South Africa with children you need to bring their birth certificates! Alex was a fabulous host. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Brigid and Adam's place! Brigid's dad showed us around the apartment and made us feel very welcomed. Brigid and Adam's place is exactly like the photos: tastefully decorated, spotless and ideally located in the heart of Cape Town. It's right off Long Street, a busy area with lots of clubs and bars, so if you're looking for somewhere quiet, this might not be the best place for you. That being said, we loved our stay and would recommend this apartment 100%!!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this apartment - the proximity to Long Street's nightlife in addition to the amazing balcony views of Table Mountain made it the perfect spot for us to explore Cape Town. As for the apartment itself, it was very homely and personalised, and came with every amenity that you could ask for including : great WiFi, a huge array of books, 24hour security and car parking. We would definitely recommend staying here, and it was so good, we even extended our stay!

We loved staying at your apartment. It was at a very strategic point for us location wise and helped us in leaving on time and catching the bus each day. But there are definitely areas of improvement. The day we came in, the Apple TV remote had no juice and we had no clues on why it wasn't working. So we were without Tv all of the first day. Then there was a child lock on the washing machine for some reason for which we had to ask him to come and fix it. The wireless was a oriblem till the last day and that really put me off with no offense. Every single night the speed went down to 4-5mbps and I had even sent you screenshots on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) inspite of the extender and your wifi provider making changes. I spent quite an additional amount on making sure that I had constant data working on my laptop as the one at home was not 100% dependable. I am not sure why this was such a task from your provider when you were paying for a 200 Mbps line. We had to make arrangements to feed our baby at night in the living room as in the bed room the iPad buffered for every single YouTube video played. Cleanliness wise it was perfect. The spices in the cupboard are all expired and you should dispose of them asap. Some expired in 2014. The chair legs were dangerously loose and we almost had an accident wirh myself tripping. Had someone informed us we would have let that chair be set aside. Otherwise overall a very nice apartment and definitely worth staying again. She allowed us to extend our stay on the checkout date as an exception for which we are very thankful to her. A lovely host overall and five stars. The above points are more for her team to work on to make it perfect.
