The place is great for those who come to Paris in order to work in the National library or just as tourists. There is everything you might need for short or long stay in the appartement and people are really nice there. It is pretty quiet place. Some big malls are in a working distance.

Hello! I spent 16 days in December at Fabrice' place and have just arrived back home. I would describe my stay (scientific trip for my PhD) and visit to Paris as a very productive experience and unforgettable adventure. The place is really quiet and central. it is just opposite side the metro-station Chevaleret. There is one more line near the flat called Bibiotheque line (number 14) which is a very big line and very convenient. It takes about 15 mnts (maximum) to walk there. Metro is great in Paris - you just get to every destination very quickly and comfortably. So, this is one of the best advantages of Fabrice' home that there are 2 metro lines nearby. As for getting to the sights of Paris on foot, this is absolutely possible from this place: i am not a tall person and it took me about 30 minutes to get to Notre-Dame (walking slowly along the river Sienna), and then 10 more minutes to get to Luvre and then to the Latin Quarter (10-15 minutes) on the way back home. So, if you like walking (and Paris is one of the best places for walking), it is really possible to walk to different sights from this place. I only had to take metro going to Montmartre, Eiffel Tower and Triumphal Arch. So, the location is really great as it is central but not in the very touristic zone where prices are higher and is really noisy. As for the flat, it is really nice, clean, cozy, convenient. I stayed in the red room and i loved it. The bed is really comfortable as well as a table and a chair to work at nights with two lamps. The toilet, bathroom and kitchen are also very clean. The flat is in a vintage style that makes you feel like you are staying at your grandparents' home :) As for Fabrice himself, he is a very experienced host, very considerate and helpful. He did not control me in anything, allowed me use most things if not all things at home, mostly stayed in his room, which helps a guest feel even more relaxed and free. So, i am really lucky having chosen this place for my stay in Paris and can really command it. I would like to thank him again for being a very helpful, polite, quiet and considerate host. With the kindest regards, Dea

My one-week stay was very satisfactory. The room was comfortable and very clean. It is a very quite apartment for those who like to rest or study. Cooking facilities are a plus. Fabrice was cordial and very respectful of the privacy of the tenants. The apartment is really close to the metro and it is very easy then to move to the main places of the city. I strongly recommend this lodging.
