The space
If you are an American, apply while booking to the 'Support to the Cuban People' travel category.

Havana's Terrace is a roomy apartment with three spacious bedrooms, one of them besides a terrace-balcony. You can enjoy a panoramic view into 23rd Street, one of the main avenues of the city.

The main bedroom has a large en suite bathroom; the third bedroom also has it own en suite bathroom.

The apartment is located in a privilege location inside Havana's Vedado, surrounded by more than 40 restaurants, cafés, bars and nightclubs. Vedado is the modern heart of the city, the main comercial, government and university district of the city . If you like to walk, it's just 30 minutes away from the historical Havana and just 5 minutes away taking a taxi.

As a host, I want guests to feel like home. Therefore, you make your own rules when you are a guest in Havana's Terrace. Once again, I recommend reading some of the reviews wrote by previous guests, so you can get the perspective from other persons who booked before you. In addition, I recommend seeing the photos.

In Cuba, Internet is extremely slow, if you compare it with American or European standards.

The host doesn't offer any services beyond the ones described in his Airbnb's profile, but he will be willing to assist you as possible as he could.

Guest access
Breakfast service is optional and it costs $5 per person. The breakfast consists mainly in fresh fruits and Cuba typical biscuits.

Havana's Terrace has a living room, a dining room, the terrace, two bedroom, each one with its own private bathroom.

In Cuba, to host a guest is more like to meet a new friend for the first time. Your well-being and safety is the host's concern and responsibility.

I can facilitate transportation for the guests.

I will be happy to help and assist the guests every time they need it, but he can't promise to provide a service that he doesn't announce here, in Airbnb.

Other things to note
Do not bring to Cuba any American credit cards or U.S. dollars. Everything in Cuba is paid with cash. Because of the U.S. embargo against Cuba, the American credit and debit cards are useless.

In addition, there is a 10% tax on the dollar. Bring in Euros, Mexican Pesos o Canadian Dollars.

The room and its bathroom will be cleaned daily to procure the proper cleanliness, always without bothering the guests.

Havana is a very safe city. You can walk around at any hour.

Location

Havana, Cuba

Havana's Terrace is located in Vedado, the main Havana's district, the capital inside the capital city. Most of the government buildings are there. Havana University's campus, the American Embassy and many of the downtown businesses.

No other place in the Cuban capital is so diverse in people, options or architecture. El Vedado is very safe and it is full of all kinds of excellent restaurants, cafés and bars, from the good and cheap ones to the expensive and unique ones.

El Vedado is Havana's downtown. My Airbnb is located nearby its very heart, the corner of 23rd and L streets. In Spanish, Vedado means 'forbidden', because three centuries ago, it was forbidden to build anything in this area.

To those of us who live in Vedado, we like to think that our neighborhood is the center of Havana: an idea difficult to discuss, considering that some of the city's main buildings are located there, from ministries to internationally recognized hotels, such as The National or the old Havana Hilton.

Living in Vedado is the dream of many Cubans, not only for the beauty of the buildings, built during past times of prosperity in Cuba. What Cubans are looking for in Vedado is the privilege of the perfect location: being in the heart of the city, the point from where you can easily go and come everywhere, with easy access to a variety of theaters, places to eat , Bars, shops, and so on.

From Vedado, you can go walking easily to anywhere in the principal parts of the city. Its five minutes away from Old Havana in taxi (or just twenty-five minutes if you choose to walk).

You can check all these facts on the Internet.
