If you don't care about clean and location, then it's okay. Bathroom: many ants with full of hair and SMELL. I cleand two times every day but no one care about cleaning. I sent a message to Ed that there are so many ants in the bathroom. He just ignored my message! AND first when i was in the room, there are just DUST. AC is of course full of dust and very noisy. The only one good thing is the best view. Otherwise worst ever.

Great place. Quiet, clean, nice apartment, near forest and great view. Ed is super friendly. About a 10 minute walk to reach supermarket nearby (though it is apparently closing in October), bus blue number 5 very close to the house goes to areas with restaurants, etc., otherwise about a 20 minute walk. Highly recommended!

Ed is a great host, he's not just a very nice guy to be around, but he also responds super quickly to messages. His place offers a really nice atmosphere with a great view over the business district of Taipei; the place is not very central but Taipei transportation is very convenient, so Ed's place offers a nice balance between enjoying the big city bustle and a quiet refuge. All in all, I'd definitely stay again and recommend staying at Ed's to my friends.

First off when you arrive at airport get a SIM card. (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps really helped me move around Taipei and they have a great transit system. You could get to Eds place using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps. With a little walking. Now on the place. It was a great private room in apartment . The balcony gives you a great view of Taipei 101. The photos don't show how good the view is since apartment is a slight slip walk up a hill. Great view of the elephant mountain which I walked to it from apartment. Same as Taipei 101 walked to it from apartment. I did a lot of walking. (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps helps you really get around the city. Met some other great travellers staying at Eds place that gave me tips on what to see and getting around as well. The kitchen was great even though I did not use it. So much good food to be had on street from cheap to more costly depending what your in the mood for. There is a washing machine. There is also a small grocery store a short walk down the hill in the neighbourhood. Bathroom had all you needed to freshen up. Safety. Taipei is very safe. CCTV cameras all over the city.

The place was just perfect; bellow are several details that hope will useful: Check-in No issues. I would like to thank Ed for wating for me. The best way to reach the house from the internatinal airport is: bus 1960 + bus 5 (which will pick you almost in front of the flat). In case you get lost, it could be very helpful to have the address of the house written using chinese characters, otherwise the people would not be able to help since they can not read the western characters! Near the house there is a good supermarket where you can buy fresh food. The house/room The room is clean with a lot of natural light. The house is quite with a nice kitcken where you can cook and a bathroom with hot shower. Thanks!
