This studio is located in the old town of Reykjavik, best possible location for people who want to be in the middle of it all! Even though it is in the city center it's a very quiet neighborhood in the beautiful old town of Reykjavik. 5 min. walking distanse from Laugavegur, the main shopping street. Laugavegur is full of bars, restaurants, clubs and shops All the main attraction are within easy walking distance, such as shops, restaurants, bars art galleries.
A swimming pool is close by where you can enjoy for swimming or have a nice relaxing dip in the famous geothermal hot pots.
Hallgrimskirkja (the big church) is at our doorstep, so to say, and The National Gallery of Iceland near by.
If you have a rental car there are free parking spaces in the street and the surrounding streets. but it may not be in the parking lot that are along the houses and they are marked with a yellow strip on sidewalks
The apartment is easily accessible from the Keflavik Airport via bus that stops at BSI which is about a 5-7minute walk away from the apartment.
The Space living room/
The studio apartment has been completely renovated and consist on the 1. flor of an small living room, next to the private enterange, kitchen and sleep area with a double bed (Queen size). There is a small kitchen where you can make yourself a coffee, tea, small stove and oven. There is also a toaster and a refrigerator.
Private bathroom is downstairs with bathtub, shower and Wc.
Included in the rental price high-speed WiFi, linen, towels, and hairdryer.
I will make my phone number and e-mail available to you should you ever need anything at all any time of day.
Interaction with Guests
There is a keybox at the apartment which allows more flexibility for guests concerning the check in and out times. Check in and out times are flexible although sometimes we may have guests coming in and/or leaving the same day, I will advise on that before accepting a reservation.
Within a very short walking distance is the harbor, a whale watching center, beautiful churches, our famous architectural music hall Harpa and many of Reykjavik´s best restaurants, pubs and shops. There are quite many tourist information stations all around the downtown area where you can book tours and trips all around Iceland or just to get information. There are also buses (public transit) that go around all of Reykjavik, please contact me for information and bus website.
