OK, where to start? We’re a family of four, with two small children, the cleanliness is naturally very important to us. The day we checked in, the sheets in one bedroom were not changed; hair on the pillow and smelly cover. Little issue comparing what came next. There were 5 big bags full of trash in the backyard when we arrived. There were mice running around the backyard and inside the trash bags, that was really a gross experience. We documented everything with photos and sent feedback to the host. The host sent her friend (Shane) to pick and throw out the pile of trash next day and he brought us one extra sheet set. That said, the horror was yet to come. Few days later, the whole apartment was full of flies, I mean like hundreds. The flies were all around the apartment, in the lower floors literally everywhere. It’s obvious the flies originated from the trash. The next day after we reported the issue with photos the host sent Shane again to vacuum and clean the flies and sprayed some agent around the area. But just a day after more flies were coming in. The third day the host appointed an exterminator for second attempt to sanitize the apartment using some chemical agent. That was the moment we contacted Airbnb and had to leave the apartment on emergency, I seriously felt the health of my two children was at risk. In the end, we had to pay hight rates for several nights stay in the hotel before we found a new vacant apartment. I want to make a note that AirBnB helped us with the issue and covered some of the expenses. That said, we still paid much more than our original budget for stay in Philadelphia.

Location is awesome for walking around in Philly. Can take an Uber or Lyft everywhere for 5-10$. NO PARKING. We paid 75$ to park in a nearby garage for 3 days so you may want to factor that in if it impacts your budget.

Andrew's place was perfect for our short stay in Philly. It was cute, clean, and very comfortable. The air conditioning was nice and cold, making the space a welcome respite from the intense summer heat. The only thing to note is that the stairs between floors were very narrow and a bit difficult to maneuver with suitcases, especially for my older parents. Otherwise, everything was excellent!

Having been a regular visitor to Philly choosing Andrews place was no accident. It is close to so many wonderful things! His place was clean and the bed is to die for after logging lots of miles walking the city all day. Just be prepared for the typical super tight spiral staircases in these town homes. A quiet, safe neighborhood! Would highly recommend.

I travel for work so I prefer to open my house up for AirBnB. I am a 32 year old working professional and am a Philadelphia native.

I am always available for reach and usually am able to respond to any questions right away.

I am very familiar with the restaurant, nightlife, tourist, sports and activity scene so please feel free to ask me any questions!
