The space

The accommodation is over 3 floors and has been thoughtfully decorated in fresh neutral tones with plenty of homely touches. It offers a very comfortable central base which would be ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a short city break or a longer vacation in Edinburgh. The property sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms and has 3 bathrooms plus a separate loo.

On the ground floor there is a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. The bedroom, with views to the court yard, is pleasantly decorated and provides ample wardrobe space.

A flight of stairs leads to the first floor, where the living area offers an attractive sitting room; stylishly furnished with a pair of red sofas and a bucket arm chair. There is a flat screen TV (satellite) with DVD player and WiFi internet access is available in the apartment. Leading from this room is the open plan kitchen/dining area furnished with a large dining table providing seating for up to 6 people. The kitchen is well equipped with oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. It has ample cookware, glass, cutlery, and crockery for 6 people if you should wish to eat at home throughout their stay. Also on the first floor is a separate loo with wash hand basin.

The second floor houses the master bedroom furnished with king sized double bed and dressing table plus ample wardrobe space. This room also benefits from an ensuite shower room with loo and wash basin. A second twin bedroom also has plenty of cupboard space and a dressing table. A family bathroom with bath and shower over, wash hand basin and loo completes the accommodation.

If you're looking for a comfortable place just off the Royal Mile, this is the perfect spot. It's walkable to most places in Edinburgh - Waverley Station is half a mile away and Edinburgh Castle is a mile away (and a pleasant 20-minute walk, at that). Lots of good restaurants, pubs and shops nearby, too. The apartment is perfect for friends traveling together. There is a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, nice living room/kitchen plus half bath on the main floor, and two bedrooms (one with an en suite) and a full bath on the top floor. Comfortable furniture, roomy kitchen, and Anabel was very helpful when we were checking in.

Flat was in a great position close to Waverley station and the Royal Mile, yet it was tucked away so was not noisy. Very good standard with all the amenities. Accommodated six of us easily. Anabel gave us all the info required and was very helpful in letting us leave our bags. Had a great time in Edinburgh.

This home was right next to the royal mile and walking distance to holyrood palace and we walked from the Waverley station as well. It is a perfect spot. It was clean and the beds were nice. The rooms are a little small, but they fit our family of six perfectly. It was one of the nicest kitchens we had in all of our UK travels.

The listing was as described - great house with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a separate toilet too. House is well heated and hot water managed showers for six. House was clean and kitchen contained essentials, e.g. for cleaning (washing machine and dishwasher included), cooking, tea/coffee etc. Location is great - less than 10 minutes from station, close to lots of bars/restaurants/great fudge shop. Host contacted me immediately on booking and again just prior to stay to arrange key collection etc. Also very quick to respond when I contacted them. We had a lovely, comfortable stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.
