Happy to meet and greet to show the general area and provide any travel tips for the area. A cup of tea would not be out of the question!

Lovely rural quiet area, close to the sea, only 10 minutes drive to the beautiful towns of Kilkee and Kilrush. Located 60 minutes drive from Shannon Airport.

Although there is some beautiful walks, a car would be beneficial. Ample parking onsite. Adult bikes may be available free of charge upon prior request to host.

No pets or smoking inside the cottage please.

We were welcomed by Maggie who, after seeing us settled, made us a lovely afternoon tea of ham sandwiches. On top of this, there were provisions to feed an army. We need not have bothered stocking up. Kevin and Maggie couldn't do enough for us. The cottage was clean, roomy and warm. Thanks so much for showing us your Irish hospitality.

Fantastic value, beautiful space in a great location. House was very easy to find and to be greeted with a fire going and a plate of sandwiches made for a very happy arrival. Kevin was a great host and gave a great tips to explore the area. Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

Kevin's place was our favorite stay on our trek around the UK and Ireland! He accommodated our late check-in and greeted us warmly with a fire going and a plate of sandwiches. The home is HUGE and very quiet making it a wonderful place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. On our second night there, we were away exploring so Kevin sent a message if we would like a fired going for when we got back! It was wonderful to come back after being out in the rain to a warm and inviting fire! I HIGHLY recommend staying here to anyone!

Kevin and Maggie's place is stunning! First of all they are fabulous hosts - they met us with the fire going and a plate of sandwiches wen we arrived! Kevin told us all the beautiful spots to go - please take his suggestions you will not be disappointed! Maggie even ran to get us some board games after we mentioned having enjoyed playing scrabble on this trip. The house is awesome - sleeps quite a few more so we were surprised to find we had it to ourselves, but actually really enjoyed the space to kick up our feet and relax. There's a great shower and a washing machine if you have laundry (always helpful to us). There was also a fridge full of snacks! You'll have all you need here and two hosts to make sure you have a great time. The cottage is out in the peaceful country but a very short ride to two towns where you can find pubs, food, stores, anything you might need. There's a lovely view out the kitchen window and we even caught a rainbow! Our only regret is we didn't have more time to chat with Kevin and Maggie!

We had such a lovely stay at Kevin's cottage. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Spotlessly clean and with a lovely turf fire for us when we arrived. Thank you Kevin, we will be back again

Kevin greeted us warmly and left us with a pile of ham sandwiches that was so welcome after a long day of driving. He was very enthusiastic for the local area and directed us to some wonderful locations and walks. We enjoyed his wit and warmth. Thanks Kevin!
