Forget your worries in our spacious and serene family retreat. Great for an overnight stop over with the family or a fun girl's weekend with friends. You have all the amenities of town with the peace of the countryside. Enjoy the patio which is a favourite spot for a morning coffee or a wine at sunset. Listen to the ruru (our little native owls, nicknamed moreporks due to the sound of their nightly call) as you settle in for a relaxing evening.
The space
Beautiful Lockwood home built in 1989 as a dream retirement home for our parents. After many years of fun family times together, we are now wanting to share this family retreat for others to enjoy. Boasting three large bedrooms, one main bathroom (off the family room) and master bedroom ensuite bathroom, a family room with it's own TV and large open plan kitchen, dining and lounge which opens onto the patio. There is a private patio off the master bedroom which has a new King Size Double bed and a large walk in wardrobe. The other two bedrooms are off the family room, one has a new Queen Size Double bed and the other has Twin beds and a designated workspace area. The Family room has a new Queen Sofa bed and the lounge has a Futon Double Sofa bed.
You are 5-minute stroll from the town centre of Bulls and the Bus depot for the Intercity bus service and Community Hub. Bulls is 2-hours north of Wellington and sits on the junction of State Highway 1 and 3. Just 23-minutes to Palmerston North, 40-minutes to Whanganui and one hour to Taihape heading north on State Highway 1. Bulls is 2-hours north of Wellington.
Both Sanson (local town 5-minutes by car) and Bulls are full of antique shops and collectable book shops. As well as great cafes like The Woolshed and Viv's Kitchen in Sanson and Mothered Goose in Bulls. Perfect for a wind-down weekend with the girls!
Bulls is a fab spot for day trips to Fielding (home of Manfield Race course) and Foxton or for an relaxed evening rest spot before you head off fresh to head further north to the mountains or Rotorua.

You have full use of the house. Please be aware that you MUST supervise children at the back area of the house and the field alongside as there is a cliff beyond the fence with trees and vegetation at the edge of the property. No access to the double garage on the property or the shed in the field.
