Enjoy looking over the fields and mountain ranges from the second floor windows. Slumber in a spacious room with a bit of an English Country feel. It comfortably fits two in the Queen bed and there is an extra trundle bed.
The bedroom has a spacious closet, a queen size bed and trundle bed that makes up into two singles or a queen. There is a comfortable chair, dresser with mirror for clothes and a side table with light for reading. The bathroom, shower and vanity are next to the bedroom for your use.
The kitchen is available for your use to prepare food and you are welcome to keep food in the refrigerator. We ask that you put food away after prep because we do have friendly ants that might find their way to goodies left out for them. There is a nice covered porch with a high table and seating that looks over the gardens where you can sit to enjoy a morning coffee or meal.
Interaction with guests
Guests will be met upon arrival, given the key and orientation of the home and area. People will come and go during the day as the sheep, chickens and cats need care. All are friendly family or neighbors that know the area and can help answer questions you might have.
Other things to note
The bedroom is upstairs and there is a light carpet on the upstairs floor so it is appreciated if shoes are taken off downstairs so the carpet does not become soiled. In the summer we usually have a vegetable garden growing so if the vegetables are ready and herbs mature you are welcome to harvest some for your meal. Also there are many flowers in the garden and you are welcome to snip a bouquet for the table or your room if you'd like. There is a basket and snips on the cabinet in the mud room next to the kitchen.
Pets are not allowed and respect for the home and contents are expected of course. We ask that you leave the room in a clean and tidy condition upon your leave. Smoking is not allowed in the house. Enjoy your stay.
