A luxurious 3 bedroom house in the heart of Glenorchy. Set in the heart of town, close to the lake and near the Glenorchy walkway. Enjoy mountain views, a spa pool, a fully equipped kitchen, Sky TV and a wrap around terrace.

The space

Our property is one of the closest in Glenorchy to the lake. There's a King En-suite room, Superking/Twin room and an upstairs room with a Queen bed and 2 single beds, and a rollaway bed can be added to sleep 9. Both of the bathrooms have a stand alone bath, 2 sinks, a shower and there's a separate toilet room. The King En-suite has a private terrace area, and the rest of the property enjoys a wrap around terrace, ideal for mountain and lake views.

Guest access

Access to a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, living room with Sky TV, spa pool, a beautiful garden. Whole house hire is included in the price so there will be no sharing.

Interaction with guests

During the days we have staff in the shop next door, The Trading Post, who will happily help our guests with anything they need, otherwise we leave you to it. There are compendiums in the house providing a wealth of information about the area if staff are not around.

Other things to note

We also own Kinloch Lodge on the other side of the lake which is a 25 minute drive or we can arrange a boat journey (weather dependent). It's a great spot for lunch or dinner either in the cozy restaurant or out on the deck staring at the lake and mountains.

This a great place in a sleepy little village (at least in the winter, it's pretty quiet). It has remarkable views, sits right next to the lake and at the head of the Glenorchy trail. While a bit of a drive from Queenstown, it was definitely worth it in my opinion. Across the lake is the village of Kinloch with a great little restaurant (owned and operated by the folks that own the Glenorchy Lake House) that had fantastic food. And the Routeburn Track trail head is a short drive away. Would definitely repeat if we are in the area again.

Truly was an amazing stay with a group of friends. It is close to the lake and few steps away from shops in the town. Combined with a view of the gorgeous mountain ranges just outside of the window, this cozy home is fantastic for any kind of group/family travellers.

Absolutely spectacular location, house and experience. If you're coming to the Queenstown area, stop looking and reserve this place. It's incredible. Achingly beautiful views and nearby trails, close to fantastic hikes (short and long), and beyond comfortable and welcoming. We rented the house for a week in winter and it was a wonderful experience - we can only imagine what it may be like in the summer. Highly recommended.

Great accommodation. 5 mins walk to the lake. Stunning view! Even from the house, the view is very beautiful. Good breakfast material was provided. Though there was a few problems after we checked-in, but were nicely solved. Recommend for 6-8 persons, otherwise it is expensive for smaller groups.
