Comfortable, refurbished lodge located in its own corner of the farm. One double bedroom, one twin bedroom with room for a cot or "put you up", bathroom, fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, living room with dining area and gas central heating.

The space

The holiday lodge is located at Jubilee Park Farm - a 50 acre grassland farm deep in the wild countryside of beautiful Devon. From the top field there are stunning views towards Winkleigh and on to Dartmoor. This is a nature lovers paradise with a huge variety of wildlife and birds including barn owls, buzzards and snipe. The air is crisp and the skies are huge. If you're looking for the razzmatazz of a holiday resort then this is probably not the spot for you - but if you'd like to get away from it all, reconnect to nature, have your own piece of Devon sky - and relax in the evening with a good book - this is your holiday!

Guest access

Guided tours of the farm available at animal feeding times. Winkleigh is a great location in the heart of rural Devon giving easy access to both the north and south coast as well as Dartmoor and Exmoor.

Interaction with guests

This is a place to get away from the busy-ness of every day life. We respect the privacy of guests and hope to provide a stress free place to unwind. As this is a grassland farm raising animals there is always someone available on site and our children will probably come to say hello.

Other things to note

This is a place to get away from it all.
To create an environment where families can reconnect with one another and enjoy spending time together we do not provide television or internet access in the lodge.

Thank you Nicola and family for an amazing break away. We loved staying in the lodge and now want a lodge of our very own!! Roomy lodge, very clean, quiet (much quieter than we expected) perfect location for exploring the whole of Devon.

We had a lovely week on the farm. The lodge is simple but comfortable with all you need for a family holiday away from the hustle of city life. The kitchen is well equipped and the washing machine is very handy. There is a good little library with books for adults and children as well as some family games. Nicola is a warm and helpful host, quick to respond to any requests or issues. The 3 children are also very welcoming and make great tour guides of the farm. My kids had a wonderful week with them, and it was delightful to see them embrace country life, feeding the animals, helping to dig & pick veges and jumping onto haystacks. It's a great location with easy access to Dartmoor, north Devon beaches & other tourist attractions. It is a working farm, so don't forget your wellies! And when the sun shines there is nothing more lovely than sitting on the front deck with a cup of tea (or glass of wine!) enjoying the views and feeling the peace and serenity.

Nicola and her family are truly lovely. They are discreet and caring at the same time. Kids had a lovely time feeding the cows, pigs and bunnies. We drove around Devon and found lots of things to do as the farm is quite central. Loved the silence and peace. Place is cosy and fully equipped with everything you might need. Make sure you get good directions to reach it from Nicola if you don't have a Sat nav as there is poor internet reception in the area. Thank you again! Hope to be back soon!

What a fabulous find, total relaxation and privacy. Great place to reconnect with each other. My son is computer mad, but he loved it here. In fact he was a bit disappointed we didn't spend more time at the farm. Great hostess with 3 smashing children who my son doesn't stop talking about. Great holiday home, I could quite easily live in. Will definitely go back to this little gem

Nicola made us welcome on a rainy evening. The farm is very quiet und our boy enjoyed seeing al the farm animals. The barn was clean and cosy, everything in good order. Heating, kitchen and shower worked perfectly. Warm duvets, a washing machine and everything you need to cook a warm meal. We loved staying there for just one night and hope to come again to enjoy the beautiful landscape.
