The ancient capital of Dalmatia, Zadar is a bustling town of around 80,000 people, but it preserves a relatively small-town feel, with a compact historic centre crowded onto a tapered thumb of land jutting northwest into the Adriatic. Is a city of very long history and an extremely valuable cultural heritage. As well as the dizzying number of churches, monasteries and historical monuments, it’s also the commercial centre, with an ever-increasing choice of boutiques and galleries, and, of course, it’s the centre of social life and cafe society.
Zadar lies within driving distance of four national parks: Plitvice Lakes, Krka Waterfalls, Paklenica and Northern Velebit, plus there are boat excursions to the Kornati Islands National Park.
Our apartment is located in a quiet street in the city of Zadar about 900 meters from the sea. The sea is easy 5 minutes away by car. The apartment is newly renovated and has 2 bedrooms, 1 living room with satellite TV, bathroom with tub and a small kitchen. The apartment faces the garden and a so-called Floorball Guard.
