The space

The ancient capital of Dalmatia, Zadar is a bustling town of around 80,000 people, but it preserves a relatively small-town feel, with a compact historic centre crowded onto a tapered thumb of land jutting northwest into the Adriatic. Is a city of very long history and an extremely valuable cultural heritage. As well as the dizzying number of churches, monasteries and historical monuments, it’s also the commercial centre, with an ever-increasing choice of boutiques and galleries, and, of course, it’s the centre of social life and cafe society.

Zadar lies within driving distance of four national parks: Plitvice Lakes, Krka Waterfalls, Paklenica and Northern Velebit, plus there are boat excursions to the Kornati Islands National Park.

Our apartment is located in a quiet street in the city of Zadar about 900 meters from the sea. The sea is easy 5 minutes away by car. The apartment is newly renovated and has 2 bedrooms, 1 living room with satellite TV, bathroom with tub and a small kitchen. The apartment faces the garden and a so-called Floorball Guard.

We stayed in Christine's apartment for 5 days, and it has been really good. Christine is a super host who lives in the apartment upstairs, so its super easy to get in touch with her. She told us everything and she has been really useful. The apartment is not so big but it has any kind of comfort, plus its cozy and clean. The only thing we didnt appreciate so much is Zadar in particular, because there is not nightlife at all, and I guess in general it's not a place where young people can have fun in general.

Very good apartment - about a 15 minute walk from the old town of Zadar in a lovely area. It was very close to a big supermarket too which was very good. Christine was lovely and we had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend.

My name is Valentine. We are from Russia, vacationing with friends in this house from 1 to 13 July. We all liked it. The house is cozy, clean, had its own outdoor terrace, where we had dinner. Christina and Mirko very sympathetic people. Immediately came to us for help if something needed. Mirko for a fee took us to the island of Krka and the town of Nin. And it was a lot cheaper if we took a hike from the agencies. The house is quite comfortable. The Old Town is going about 15 - 20 minutes. To sea a little more. Near many supermarkets and big stadium. We all liked it. Very grateful to the owners for good reception.

I had a wonderful stay at Christine's apartment, it had anything that it promised, just a short walk from the center of the town and Christine was always available by phone to help us or give any suggestion, in general me and my friends only have good things to say about this accommodation.

Well I am a quite open person...nearly almost in good mood and love to laugh. I am communicative and I love people. I am interested in each person i meet. I am respectful and friendly and so I expect to be treated. I wont live without my lifepartner, my cats, the sea, to see the sun and to read a good book. I like all kinds of music but favorite is house music, I like the mediterian way of eating...fish, prawns, olivesoil, fresh salates, BBQ, I traveled already all over the world but my favorite destinations are croatia, southafrica, seychelle islands, mauritius and hawaii. My life motto is: Dont treat me the way you wont be treated. Be fair and you will be fair treated.
