Hamsan & Zef are excellent hosts -- very responsive, thoughtful, and hospitable. Checking in and out was smooth. The room was great and was exactly what I was looking for. Overall, a great experience.
My stay was ok. I was granted some courteous gestures like a ride to the supermarket or downtown. Yet, there can be a lack of space, complex communication and an uptight environment. For 3.5 months, it was easy to stay here :)
Response from Hamsan & Zef:
Aldo, from the sound of your review, it seemed like you were not entirely content with your stay with us. We are sorry to hear that. So, we are exactly not sure what you're referring to when you talked about "lack of space?" You are our first guest who has brought this to our attention. We have had guests who had stayed longer than you and there was never an issue. So, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. That said, based on other guests reviews, overall, many agree that the room has pretty decent space for one person especially for a long term stay like yours. In fact, if you recall, we made sure you had extra containers and/or space to store your stuff in your room. We also provided you ample space in both our pantry and fridge to accommodate your often abundance of groceries during course of your stay. What we saw was there was lack of organization and the spaces that were assigned to you often needed some act of "tidying up." Perhaps this was what could have caused the "lack of space" issue? As for reference of the "complex communication and uptight environment", again, you are our first guest ever to have mentioned that to us so, perhaps this has to do with you being locked out that one night? If you remember, there wasn't any CLEAR communications on your part as to whether you were in town or not and/or that if you were coming back late or not at all. As agreed, we're suppose to have clear communications at all times and we feel that often, we didn't receive that from you. Regardless, we appreciate you staying with us and we truly enjoyed meeting you. - ZEF
I came alone all the way from India. I was so exhausted and tired but as soon as I come here Zef welcomed me with such energy that I felt refreshed after almost 18 hours of regular travelling and tons of jetlag. Zef and Hamsen made me feel like I am their own family and made me f…
My husband Hamsan and I have been hosting friends, friends of friends, and international students for many, many years. It just makes sense to continue doing it through AirBnB. My average speed in life is 200 miles per hour and I have enough energy to power up a small town. L…
