Where you’ll be

Plazac, Aquitaine, France

The Vézère Valley and the Dordogne Valley, as well as the Périgord Noir are exceptional and unique places to stay and to visit.
The Vézère valley is the "Berceau de l'Homme" (the birthplace of mankind). The sites of cultural interest for the beginner or the expert are innumerable. Painted caves, engraved caves, troglodyte dwellings, archéological excavation, flint and tool exhibitions and more.
The Dordogne Valley is the valley of 1001 châteaux. History dating from the Middle Ages, impressive châteaux plummeting over the valleys, recounting the 100 year conflict between the French and English. Fairytale châteaux with spires and turrets, exquisite gardens, visits and more.
There are numerous picturesque villages and medieval towns to stroll around. Local markets with local produce to taste, restaurants and sunny terraces.
Long rivers to meander down on canoes discovering the castles. Also cycling, walking, horse riding and multiple activities.
The region has everything for all ages!
