We loved our stay here. Orsola's mother, Adalgisa, whose BandB this actually is, was delightful. She laid out a spread each morning of fruit, meat or cheese, bread, home made cake, and coffee, then sat with us as we ate. We speak very poor Italian, and she speaks no English, but with a translation app and gestures, we laughed and conversed. She was helpful, animated and interesting. The room was comfortable, though it lacked a window to open, and the bathroom was lovely.
The only problem was finding it initially. We were not given directions and there is no number 33 on the house. So, for future reference, DIRECTIONS: from Piazza Matteoti, go uphill through the porta cappuccino, the north east gate at the top of the city. The road forks three ways there; take the right hand road. There will be two more forks; stay left both times. Look for the garage door in the picture and ring the bell to the right of it. Adalgisa is worth finding!
Also, some reviews complained about internet connection. We were able to use the internet in the room, but it cut out sometimes and could be slow to load data-dense pages.
