Our newly refurbished flat sits in the heart of East London, five minutes from Chatsworth Road, a wonderful market street full of cafes, organic shops, bars, restaurants and vintage clothes shops.
The flat is situated right by the River Lea, which is surrounded by parks and open green spaces. The kitchen and bedrooms both have views of the river. The flat lies in a quiet residential area, 5 minutes from Clapton Overground Station, which connects to Liverpool Street Station in 10 minutes or over to Walthamstow Station for the Victoria line. From Liverpool Station you can catch a train very quickly into Central London. The Central line can take you to Tottenham Court Road or Oxford Circus within 15 minutes. (Connect for Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Harrods, etc.) Homerton Overground station is also within walking distance (around 20mins), along the river and through the parks. The Overground trains from here can quickly take you to West London, to Camden Town or Hampstead Heath. It also connects with the Victoria line at Highbury & Islington station, which is one stop from Kings Cross St Pancras. Heading further East you can also reach Stratford in 2 stops, which is next to Westfield Shopping Centre, the largest in London.

Interaction with guests
We will meet you on arrival and would be more than happy to give you all our advise on this great area! We can point out some local spots, restaurants, and walks and answer any of your questions.
We don't wear shoes in the house as we want to keep it as clean as possible, so we ask everyone to keep their shoes off when inside the flat.
This is absolutely a non smoking house. (There is plenty of outdoor space by the river or in the garden for smoking though).
I am an artist living and working in East London. I create beautiful big paintings and greeting cards. I also teach yoga throughout London and work as a practitioner of Traditional Thai Massage.
My boyfriend Alex is an acupuncture and massage therapist and a musician/ DJ. When not booked out we use our spare room as a therapy and massage room, so it has a very relaxing and ambient feel.
We love our home by the river, it's quiet, surrounded by trees and very beautiful. We love being able to enjoy walks along the riverside and through the woodland and parks- all just outside our front door. There's also so much to explore close by, with the Sunday market on Chatsworth Road, or heading over to Stoke Newington Church Street or down to Broadway Market.
We love music, and we love cooking to music, so it's great having a good sound-system in our kitchen! It's also a blessing to have so much live music happening in this city, and good record shops.
We've both spent a lot of time visiting other countries and travelling, working or otherwise just for pleasure. We love to meet people from different places and cultures as it's always interesting to get new perspectives. Currently we are trying to organise a trip to Taiwan to go biking through the mountains and to visit all the tea gardens!
