John's house was exactly as described. The location is great as it's just a minutes walk to the beach.

Very enjoyable stay in John's house over a weekend with family (8 of us), great location near the beach and comfortable house. John was an excellent and accommodating host, very responsive to the few queries we had. The family had a great weekend, many thanks John.

The house was very comfortable and perfectly suited to our group of three families with four small children. The enclosed back yard and spacious living area were both great for the kids to play around in, and they were delighted to find all the toys provided! The beach was extremely close by and there were enough restaurants, playgrounds and amusements in the nearby area to keep everyone entertained for the full week, even with one or two wet days. The owners were very helpful, and provided us with additional towels when we asked for them. Accessing the house was straightforward via the key safe. Generally we had an excellent stay in Rosslare - my only advice to other travellers would be that although most amenities are available within walking distance, it is advisable to have access to a car if you want to make a trip to a supermarket. Overall, I would highly recommend John's house to anyone considering an Irish family holiday by the beach.

House was exactly as pictured and described. John was very helpful in providing detailed directions to the house, which we found without difficulty. Keys were stored in a wall safe and the whole process of getting into the house was simple. We had a large family of several adults and children, house accommodated us all comfortably and had everything we needed. Location is great, practically opposite the beach and a short walk down to Kelly's or the local village.

The instructions on finding the house were not accurate, and when I rang for assistance on getting into the house I was unhelpfully told that I had been given this information already. When I said the information I had received was wrong I was told that anyone could have worked out how to get into the house (like I was the stupid one). The keys to the house were down a dark back alley, under a dirty bin. It was very difficult to see them in the dark. Perhaps a key safe would be better for guests, than getting them to rummage under dirty bins. The house was nicely decorated and would make a nice place to stay in summer, but it was too cold for winter. While the living area did warm up, the bedrooms remained freezing for the weekend. The radiators need to be bled and you need to provide more blankets for winter in such cold rooms. The house has beds for 9 people but there are only 6 chairs at the dining table, we had to use the outdoor chairs which are too low for people to sit comfortably at the table. There were no little extras like salt or pepper, towels or enough toilet paper, these small details can make a stay a lot more pleasant. Prior to leaving, we were told to leave the keys in a neighbouring house but then on the afternoon we left (after we had already left) we got a message to say we had to leave the keys back under the dirty bin. I think the owners need to sort their communication out, it's very annoying to receive unclear instructions.
